Regions Bank Pratt Ave, Huntsville

I had went to Regions a couple weeks ago as I had been solely relying on CashApp for electronic payments and needed a legitimate bank account. The gentleman who helped me (will update with his name when I get it) was absolutely helpful in so many ways. He explained the pros and cons of different accounts, fees with them (I have none due to direct deposit), helped me set up mobile banking, informed me on the difference between mobile and in person banking, and made sure to order me some checks. He also spent some time discussing money service apps like CashApp and Venmo, which gave me an even better understanding of them. I have been back in this Regions a few times since for depositing cash and a money order. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. For anyone looking to start banking or switch banks Regions is top notch. This location in particular is close to me and has great staff, but they do have Regions throughout much of the United States making it a very easy to access bank no matter where you go.

This is the WORST bank branch I have ever experienced in any bank, ever. First after losing $600 out of our account, they are told to deactivate a card (the one with the bad charge) and they just "forget" to do it, leading to another $300 to be stolen (which they then tell us will take up to 30 days to recover). In the mist of all this, the teller keeps calling my husband "darlin'" because that's what instills trust in your financial institution, treating your customers like you're serving up their eggs at the local diner. After 3 days of waiting for them to call us back about the charge and their failure to deactivate a card, the employee's response to my husband saying, "Why wasn't I called the day I was told I'd be called?" was to say, "Don't you ever have things at your job you don't get around to?" This bank's way of apologizing for further delaying the refund of money THEY were responsible for losing was to try and convince my husband that because others are also incompetent, it's okay for her to be incompetent. I am truly glad to have moved from this area of town so that I never have to go in this branch again.

Why would you allow people to schedule appointments when you are not open?

The staff goes the extra mile to be helpful . They are friendly, caring , and extremely professional . I appreciate their diligence and efforts , and am a very pleased customer for many years.

They've always been very kind, and addressed any of my needs.
