Regions Bank College Dr, Baton Rouge

I just called the Regions on College Drive to see if a check would clear and the teller was HORRIBLE. She informed me that they were short staffed and had a customer in front of her. She suggested I call 1-800-Regions to get information about the check. When I asked for her name she said please hold and hung up. I would not open an account with Regions if they were the last bank on this earth!! They do not deserve one star.

Do not, I repeat, do NOT deposit cash in their ATM. I deposited $940 in their ATM and it jammed. I know it’s a lot to deposit in the ATM but it was after hours and I had no other choice as I needed the money in my account as soon as possible and I didn’t have the money sooner. The next morning I rushed to the bank to report the issue and I was treated with complete indifference. They tried to reassure me that I’ll get my money back because “this happens every week”...yes, I was actually told this by the man working (very tall man, his name is Jorge I believe). Apparently it’s too much trouble to fix the ATM or at least warn customers that it’s not working properly. I eventually got my money back a week later after one of my college classes was purged but by then, I had to pay the $940 out of pocket. I was removed from the class without reimbursement from my university since it was past the removal period. I lost $940 because of this branch’s incompetence and I have absolutely nothing to show for it. I worked extremely hard so I can pay for college without taking out a loan and to have this happen is devastating.

Carla is very friendly and nice. This is the bank I use when in Baton Rouge!

I have never had a good experience with them. They are slow, rude, and they don't care at all. I even had one woman roll her eyes at me for asking to make a withdrawal.

Shout out to the really polite guy asking people waiting in line asking customers if he can assist them with anything non cash related. So nice.

I wouldn't even give this location one star. I have NEVER gotten good customer service from this place, today I was not paying much attention while driving up (totally my own fault) and when I got to the banking tube, the male teller with long hair told me that lane 4 was closed so rudely, so I drove around to an appropriate lane, waited 15 minutes to give my deposits and then another 20 while they took care of my deposits upon returning my tube the same male very aggressively told me that the change for my deposit was not sorted properly and if it was like that next time they would refuse my deposits, which is crazy because I sort them in envelopes. I come here weekly, because of the convenience of the location but after today I will not be returning.

Regions lies about everything! According to the terms hanging all over the bank, direct deposits are available on the same day that they are made. My account was once over assessed fees of almost $300 because I set up my bills to automatically be paid the same day my pay check was deposited. Regions couldn't give me any reason for it happening other than they did it because they could. They couldn't even disagree that it went against their own policy. The also make it seem as if you can "opt out" or "opt in" of overdraft fees when they will really just continue to charge overdraft fee regardless.

Why does regions bank have atms when they never work at any location. I wish I never made the mistake to do my banking business here.

I like regions especially the one on college drive yes some of the others are really bad customer service but if u want good customer service go to the college branch they are super awesome

I hate regions. They are the slowest, least reliable and have the worst customer service.
