    Regions Bank Reviews

Honestly, I was not looking forward to visiting this bank based on all the poor reviews. HOWEVER, my experience was really good. Like most banks at the moment, they have a scaled-down staff. But I was promptly and courteously greeted when I walked into the bank. And even though my account is based at a Louisiana branch of Regions, they were more than happy to help me with my issue. Tyler Hale (the Branch Manager) was super nice and competent. I would not hesitate to return to this bank, nor would I hesitate to recommend it.

This is one of the worst 😭 banks. Have them 500.00 to open new account on June 28 Closed account on July 9 for no apparent reason When I called customer service on July 12 they said" they have the right to do that. Dealt with Wells Fargo for over 30 years Never had a problem like that. No wonder they have no business. Still never received my 500.00 on July 29 after Tyler Helm bank manager said.It would be at my residence by 5 pm. If a bank is keeping my money how many others are they keeping. Basically I have lost my money and Regions fill they have done nothing wrong . Hopefully I can get some results from BBB and lawsuit

With the exception of one employee who is very friendly, there have been several changes over the last 2.5 years. The hours are inconvenient for people who work, they close without any notice, the ATM doesn't take deposits half the time and they omit information when setting up loans or accounts for you. The branches are also far apart which can be a problem. Responses to questions are slow-if ever and the main banking number is automated with endless wait times. Not a good bank to use in general.

    Response from the owner

We're sorry to hear of this experience, Jeannie. We'd like to learn more to ensure your feedback is documented. Please send us an email to [email protected] and we'll call you. -Tyler

Horrible Customer Service. I called in about some transactions with Customer Service and the Branch. The branch is horrible they specific are taking NSF fees and posting transactions incorrectly. I will be moving bank only because of the unprofessional Branch personnel Jennifer got nasty with me after I was speaking with her and a nice tone and she turn rude and raising her voice. Not worth banking with if they are going to be unprofessional.

The ladies there are always helpful! Ajay (I think that's how you spell it) was very nice and got my transaction done immediately without delay. And the girl that did my notary was very pleasant to deal with and extremely helpful. She even went out of her way to help me get some missing paperwork printed out

I work for someone who just made this account for this bank. Not a fan. They do not seem to want to help like most small banks. My other store who is with them. Went to get money from them. They only had 3500 in the whole bank. Who has a bank with no money in it??????? Stay away. DATCU is who I bank with. Much better customer Service oriented.

This bank has no clue. I have talked to 6 different people both in branch and on phone to corporate and have received 6 different answers. I have been trying to close a secured line of credit for 3 weeks and still don’t have my funds. NO ONE at this bank seems to be knowledgeable of there so called banking system. Still refusing to release my funds even though I’ve done what the run around has told me to do. Run don’t walk away from this bank

    Response from the owner

Very disorganized branch experience. The worst part was that I left documents for them to fax per instructions received in a letter from Regions fraud claims. One month later I called Regions Customer Protections to follow up and learned that the documents were never received through any of their relevant systems. I don’t know what happened but I have little expectation that this branch was blameless in the fall-through.

    Response from the owner

We're sorry to hear about the situation you have had, Suzanne. Our team is happy to further discuss these concerns. Please feel free to email us at [email protected]. -Ana

Opened an account because I kept getting $400 coupon offers to swipe a debit card 10 times. Took 2 weeks to get the debit card, used it 10 times...waited 90 days to be told I didn't complete the requirements within 30 days of account opening. I guess I trusted the institution and didn't read the fine print. Their inflexibility is what is frustrating. Ultimately, their loss.

Horrible Banking... It's no personal bank and everything is automotive phone service. 😱 I rarely get answers to questions or concerns from Regions Bank. I get transferred or put on hold a MILLION times before connecting with a supervision who still transfer calls to someone else. SMH
