I had a great experience with Reggie's Motorworks! I have an 89 bmw 535i and they were recommended by another mechanic. Many mechanics won't work on older vehicles, but Reggie's had a technician well versed in these vehicles. Not only were they very thorough and knowledgeable, but answered all of my questions and were honest about what truly needed fixing and what could wait until future visits. I would have no concerns trusting your BMW or other imports to Reggie's. Highly recommended!

Reggie's is great! They do a great job of being high end but not snooty. While not the cheapest I feel their work is well worth it and good. I love their transparency and being able to kind of follow along online. While they have returned big lists of needed repairs I don't feel like I'm being pressured into an upsell. The complimentary cookies are also amazing. My favorite thing is the complimentary car as I live a couple of hours away and need a loaner vehicle to be able to get to work while my car is in the shop.

Reggie's Motorworks was a great place to take our car. We were frustrated that we couldn't find an honest mechanic who really knew how to fix European cars. After spending a lot of money trying to fix our 1988 BMW 318ti, we were lucky to find Reggie's Motorworks. This place is spotless, and not only did they fix the car, but they did it quickly and with great honesty and courtesy from the GM, Nick Howard, and the technicians Dave, Tyler, and Brandon. Reggie's Motorworks did good work quickly and gave estimates in writing. We really appreciate the service, kindness, and care we get from Reggie's Motorworks. We tell all of our family and friends to check it out. the best place in Noblesville, Indiana to work on European cars.

I went here in confidence that I heard they do great work on foreign vehicles. I dropped off my truck there on a Tuesday and hadn't really heard anything so I called to see and check on the process that following Thursday because I hadn't heard? They then send me the list or detail of the issues I had with my Truck. They charged me a 200 diagnostic fee which for the way they go about it is definitely worth it. But I told them I took my vehicle to where it was bought and a diagnostic was already done? I also asked about some other repairs to be looked into, and if reasonable I would add to my repair. That was Thursday, I call back Monday and they and me over another list including the extra repairs... quoted me $298 to change my head light bulb and another $248 for engine cleaning!! Needless to say I understand quality parts and service but to the market their prices were NOT GOOD. When I asked about the prices which were steep they told me there's a shop for everyone and that this might not be the shop for me?! Thank you for the advice. I picked up my truck today 10 days later nothing started and paid them a $200 fee that was already done. Black Forest motors quoted me almost $700 cheaper and I'll get my truck back in two days. Don't get price gauged when u have other options my friends. This place won't get my business ever again. Nice shop though
Hi Montez, this is Nick, the General Manager here at Reggie's Motorworks. I spoke with you briefly when you picked up your car yesterday and I had spoken to you on the phone about your Rover last week as well. Based on your review I went back and listened to your original phone call with our Service Advisor to see where we may have dropped the ball. I completely understand the frustration of being without your car for several days and the disruption that it causes in peoples lives. However, our Service Advisor did explain during your phone call that our schedule was booked out at least two weeks, but if you could go ahead and drop your car off we would try to get it in as soon as possible if someone else misses their appointment. You also mentioned that the dealer you bought the car from had already diagnosed the issue, however, our testing showed that the dealer actually misdiagnosed the problem. They stated that the air suspension just needed to be recalibrated, but the actual issue, at least the first issue we found, was that the air compressor had failed. And that is why each shop wants to perform their own testing & diagnostics. No shop wants to perform repairs and waste our client's money, due to another shop or dealer possibly misdiagnosing something. We all want to be responsible for our own recommendations for repairs. Regarding pricing, folks will find other shops who will do cheaper work than we do. But there are a lot of things that should go into comparing shops other than just cost; like quality and the certifications of their Technicians, does the shop provide continued training for the technicians every year, the quality of the Service Advisors, does the shop provide continued training for the Advisors every year, what is the warranty provided, does the shop continually invest in the proper computers and tools to work on specialized cars, do they offer free loaner cars, do they wash your car, what kind of technology does the shop offer to be transparent with their clients - digital work orders with pictures, videos, and online estimates, or just old fashioned paper? I would also suggest to potential clients that they research Google reviews or look for Better Business Bureau reports, talk to friends, and co-workers. So when our Service Advisor stated that there is a shop for every client and a client for every shop, what he meant was that not everyone finds value in the extensive list of investments we make in our people and our business, or the extra amenities that we provide to our clients. Perhaps those things don't matter to someone as long as they can get the work done for less elsewhere? And that's totally ok. That's why there are all types of auto repair shops out there for clients to find what works best for them. But even though we weren't the shop for you, I wish that we had left it as a better overall experience for you. I'm always happy to talk in more detail, via phone call or email. I took my Porsche 944 to Reggie's to have the AC repaired. During their inspection of the vehicle they identified some issues in addition to AC. I requested these items to be addressed also and all communication was prompt, clear with no pressure. I must admit, they really went out of their way to welcome me to their business with a car show, prizes and lunch. (Customer appreciation day 2022) The work was done completely and I have found them to be not only competent with their work but honest and friendly. I will keep them as my "go to" place for my my German and British sports cars.

Recently I was very excited to possibly purchase a 2006 Mercedes Benz SLK350 2seater retractable hardtop as a summer toy. It was affordable and looked great on the surface. The guys at Reggies took it in in a timely fashion. They did a detailed inspection, provided hard copy with pictures and spent time explaining every flaw on what I thought was a perfect prize. The vehicle had severe safety issues and could have become an instant money pit. What really impressed me was that up front I told them they were highly recommended they would be my place of choice to repair my new vehicle. They recommended I pass on the vehicle. Now days honesty, integrity and trust is not too common in business. Thanks guys.

I went to Reggie’s to address low airflow in my VW Passat. Reggie’s was unable to resolve the issue. I still have little to no airflow from my vents and will have to find another shop to repair.

I was looking for a reliable place to service my Mercedes. My colleague recommended Reggie’s and I gave them a shot. I found them to be very professional and upfront about all the work that was going to be done on my car. They keep detailed records of everything. I wanted them to update me on the overall “health” of the car. There are photographs of everything that was checked. All recommended services are documented in writing. They are not significantly cheaper than the MB dealership. So far, I feel like it’s quality work. Will know more with time. Their staff is very courteous and will take the time to explain or discuss a concern with you. Definitely recommend trying them out. Will go again.

I basically spent $600 for them to tell me what I told them was wrong in the first place. Only for them to try and sell me a new battery when mine was a month old, then to say they don’t work on engines and refer me to a dealership technician. Stay away from here from my experience.
Paul, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, I'm sorry you weren't satisfied with your experience at Reggie's Motorworks. You mentioned a new battery and spending $600 in your review. While we originally recommended a new battery because it was dead when the car came to us and it failed testing while in the car, we were able to remove it from the car and get it fully charged. So we ended up not installing a new battery as originally planned. Also your total ended up coming to $399 for working with the dead battery and the all of the engine Testing. Your Maserati has an engine built by Ferrari, which makes the available repairs and parts much different than most European cars. As our Service Advisor discussed with you, we tried to find a remanufactured engine for your car, but none were available. And when we contacted Maserati about purchasing a new engine for you, they explained that they don't sell 'engines' like most manufacturers. Their required process was that the car needed to go to a Maserati dealer for the engine to be torn down, then based on what actually failed in the engine, Maserati would sell the dealer the parts to make the necessary repairs. So while we tried to find a solution to the failed engine in your Maserati, we didn't have any options available to us, and that is why we referred you to the dealer. Again, I'm sorry you were not happy with your experience with us, I do feel as though we did everything we could to try and provide quality service. Found my 911S completely "dead" one morning. Nick agreed to take the car immediately when I explained it was my daily driver even though they were scheduled out at least a week. Suspected bad alternator due to prior history but Reggie's determined only the battery was dead. They were prepared to honor the warranty even though they hadn't installed it. Had battery replaced, car washed & returned in one day! I got fresh cookies with my invoice and an invite to attend a PCA driving event that weekend. Reggie's followed up afterward to confirm everything worked 4.0. Outstanding service provider!

I had my 2011 BMW 535i for 6 years and serviced at Reggie's. Their customer service was amazing! I was educated on what they were doing, why they were doing it, and the options I had. I also thought since it was a BMW, cost would be extravagant, but I honestly think they gave me at cost prices. They even gave me a car to use while mine was being serviced. They even did things I didn't even notice and my car was always like brand new when I got I got it back. Unfortunately, I don't have that car anymore but I will always be grateful for Reggie's Team!

First and foremost, I drove over two hours just to have Reggie's service my M3. We don't have any BMW peformance shops around the Ft. Wayne area, and I wasn't willing to let some other local shop "give it a try" when it came to reinforcing the rear subframe. Nick Howard was fantastic with communication, forming an outline of services to be performed, sourcing all of my desired parts, and scheduling a large block of time for service to be performed. I also met with Reggie when I dropped off the car, and was able to pick his brain briefly about my long term goals for the car, dedicated track car versus original preservation. All in all, it's a very impressive shop that should put your mind at ease for any service to your German vehicle. I was also especially impressed to see a young high school student on-site for an internship program. Small business working locally to teach kids the skills necessary to prosper in life; it doesn't get much better than that, and I wish more businesses would follow Reggie's lead. A few side notes; their initial inspection of my vehicle and the detailed inspection file which was forwarded to me immediately, complete with pictures, was beyond impressive. They didn't miss a thing, and the pics the tech had included served as a great addition to the inspection. Likewise, upon completion of the services I had performed, they also supplied me with pictures before, during, and after the rear subframe reinforcement process. I couldn't be happier with their service, shop, or employees. As for the cookies, those deserve a 5 star review all on their own!

I am new to Reggie's but they were recommended to me by several others and thought I would give them a try. First, they assisted me in ordering an exhaust system for my Porsche and the installation. The folks at Reggies did an amazing job with my 2007 VW beetle. I brought it to them with a stripped bolt, stuck in the engine splash guard and they managed to extract it plus repair the AC and perform the back wheel brake pad and rotors install. I will definitely bring more vehicles to them!

I took our family's 2007 Mercedes C350 into Reggie's for Service B, but also for an overall inspection since the auto is not driven very often. Nick, the service manager, is very courteous and helpful; his communication and care for the client is top-shelf. A loaner car was provided whilst the Merc was in for work, which made life so much easier. The quote on Service B was competitive to most Merc dealers, but I cannot stress enough on how THOROUGH Gary, the technician, was with inspecting and identifying issues, and then to triage the most critical repairs for safety/drivability. The notes and accompanying pictures on the repair order were so helpful; even if you are not savvy with automotive repair lingo, it is very easy to understand what the car needs and what the trade-offs are if not addressed at that particular visit (i.e. kicking the can down the road and what the can may look like the next time it's time to kick it). I have taken BMWs, Mini Coopers, and now a Mercedes to Reggie's Motorworks over the past few years, and it seems that every time I drop off a European car at their shop, the customer and automotive service just continues to improve from an already superb baseline. Thank-you for being Indy's trusted destination for Euro auto service and a garage that I confidently enjoy pulling into for our beloved cars' care. Oh, and the cookies are the nicest touch!

Excellent service and attentive to important maintenance needs beyond the issue I took car in concerned about. Competitive pricing. Responsive staff easy to reach and Dave took time to explain everything and even went above and beyond to care for my soon to be classic. He also sent me a super detailed itemized listing of repairs. I was very pleased with the thoroughness of the troubleshooting and the report I received. It went far beyond the Mini dealer experience. Though my car now requires a new engine not the fault of Reggie's, I remain satisfied that they did the best they could to fix my issue short of complete tear down of the engine itself. I will highly consider using them again for my Mini maintenance needs.

I used Reggie’s for the first time just getting an inspection on my newly purchased Mini Cooper s They were extremely communicative (which is something I value in a business) The day I was supposed to get it looked at I was told the mini tech had an emergency and wasn’t able to come in, I was given multiple options to wait for him to come back, let another tech with enough knowledge look it at, or take the car back if necessary. Since I didn’t need it I chose to wait for the mini tech, and they got it done the next day when he was back in The inspection was very detailed and told me lot of things I knew as well as a lot of things I didn’t, and now I’m able to see what needs done, will need done in the future, and what checked out good They gave me prices and options to fix everything they found wrong but didn’t pressure me AT ALL to get any of it fixed through them They did recommend a few things that needed done immediately, but they were things I’m comfortable doing and they were completely fine with that, not trying to upsell me Very honest and hardworking people and they just seem like they enjoy what they do which I respect in a small business You feel valued as a customer I will definitely be back and have already recommended them to multiple friends Highly recommend the guys at Reggie’s

Convenient location, excellent customer service with option of shuttle home or loaner car. Repairs & service done when promised & to my satisfaction. My car was washed & clean upon pick up & oh the icing on top were the butter cookies from Rosies. I also appreciated the follow up afterwards to make sure everything was ok. Reggie’s was great! They went over my “new to me” Mini Cooper ensuring the car was solid and ready to hit the road with me and my mini-me. Customer service is fantastic! The team is very thorough and detailed. They communicate extremely well. The garage is impressive and super clean. They wash my Mini after every service and sometimes leave me cookies from a local business, which is awesome. They also provide me with a loaner car while mine is with them! I wholeheartedly recommend Reggie’s Motorworks. I had recently bought an older Audi and wished to have a check engine light second option after going to the Audi dealership. The team at Reggie’s made a strong first impression by 1) fitting me in a time that worked for me 2) rescheduled when I couldn’t make it 3) sent reminders (I’m a busy professional and this helped!) 4) were generous with a loaner car for the day 5) drilled down in great detail what the issues were and how they impact the whole health of the car 6) offered market prices on level of work 7) clearly described what needed to be done and what could wait. They found issues the audi dealership did not (in-depth analysis!) and cautioned on some they did. Very happy with my experience! They even washed my car and left a very nice thank you gift! This shop knows their stuff and delivers it flawlessly.

They said my engine was blown and wanted to charge $18k for repair. Took it to Dryer and Reinbold and they repaired timing chain for $1400. Reggie's tried to scam me without actually diagnosing the problem. Update: Reggie's contacted me after reading my review. They gave me a complete refund and requested the service report from BMW to use as a training opportunity. They were very apologetic and made everything right.
Derek, thank you again for taking the time to talk with me about your BMW 528i xDrive. We got the diagnostics wrong, and let the data lead us down the wrong path. I'm glad that the dealer found the timing chain issue during their disassembly and were able to get a majority of the repair good-willed by BMW. Replacing engines in cars is both inefficient work and unprofitable work for most shops, so we never want to recommend an engine unless we feel as though it is the absolute last resort repair. Again, I apologize that we got it wrong on your car, but we're very happy for you that class-action lawsuit against BMW worked in your favor and you were able to get your car repaired relatively inexpensively. I LOVE Reggie’s Motorworks! As a VW TDI owner, Iv always been picky about where I take my car for service. The dealership is over priced and sluggish for simple services. With a European diesel vehicle, Iv always worried about making sure the correct oil, fluids, and parts are being used. I don’t have to worry when my car is at Reggie’s. They are so professional and knowledgeable! The service is fairly priced, and they’ve never been pushy to squeeze more money out of you for services you don’t need, unlike some other shops Iv tried in the past. They even offer a loaner vehicle if your car needs a more lengthy repair, which is a great peace of mind. They’re honest and dependable, and I’ll never take my car to another shop! Also, the free car wash and cookies from Rosie’s are a fantastic touch!

I looked back in my receipts and I have been using Reggie’s Motorworks since January 2015 for my 2010 Mini Cooper. These are local people that when you use their services the money is going to people that live here locally. They always do a thorough inspection of my vehicle. I have never wondered if they missed anything as they never do. The shop is immaculate. They show photos of my vehicle before they start work along with the estimate. They do all of this electronically including payment during these social distancing times. If you want first class professional service with impeccable follow up for your foreign or now even domestic automobile look no further.

I was having an issue with the alternator on my VW Beetle. I had taken it to a VW dealer who couldn't get the parts for 4 plus days, with a cost estimated at $1800 and wouldn't be able to work on it for 2 weeks and had no loaner to give me. I called a 2nd VW dealer who had the part, no loaner at the time and couldn't get to the car for a week at a cost of $1600. I called Reggie's Motorworks who was able to get the required alternator in 2 days, give me a loaner and get my car back to me in 2.5 days at a cost of $1100. The car runs great! Everyone I met at Reggie's was professional and great to work with. I highly recommend them.

My daughters’ 2011 Mini was leaking oil, but I couldn’t find the source. We needed the car repaired quickly for their return trip to college (9 hours away). I read the glowing reviews for Reggie’s so I gave them a try. I was promised that the estimate would be sent later that afternoon. It was sent the following morning, not a big deal but worth noting. The price was by no means cheap, but replacing the oil filter housing gasket is a big job. I was also promised that the job would be complete before the weekend, however there was some uncertainty when I called again at 2:00 on Friday. Nonetheless the work was completed on time. I haven’t seen a leak, so I think the work was successful. The only complaint is that a screw was missing from the A/C recharge port bracket. I would definitely recommend Reggie‘s, but there is a little room for improvement.

Have know Reggie for a number of years and watched his business grow and grow and grow! Used them recently to diagnose a audio system issue on a 2007 S550 Mercedes. A better experience I can't imagine. Staff was as ususal the best. The technician gave me the whole deal and even went out to the car to do that. You won't get that at a dealer.
