    They have a bad rating for a reason. Do not trust your finances with this “credit union”. If you have an issue over the weekend you might be lucky enough to get a response from them by Tuesday if you’re lucky. Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They changed my accounts around, and in the midst of having to move all of my debits to a different account, I was guaranteed by a representative that I would not incur any fees, as this is already an overwhelming and stressful process; and that if I did, they would be taken care of and reversed. That fell on deaf ears, and sure enough; no courtesy, and no customer service. I can’t wait until my direct deposit hits in two days so I can close all of my accounts and be done with this credit union once and for all. If you’re okay with banking like it’s 1995 all over again, this is the place for you… And wow. After scrolling and reading other endless horror stories… the part that makes me the most angry and disappointed is that I was told on the phone by an employee that given all the recent changes and whatnot that if I happened to get a fee during switching all of the accounts, that he would be sure it was taken care of and reversed. Upon reaching out to RRCU and messaging them multiple times regarding this, they just ignored that altogether. Keep your word and make good on your guarantees! Again, DO NOT TRUST this credit union.

    I've been using Red Rocks Credit Union since I was 12 years old, which is 23 years. Never in my life have I had such bad experiences at a financial institution, and I work at one myself, have been in the business for several years. When the bratty blonde behind the counter gives no reasons other than "its always been this way" and " now that our systems are up to date" as the reason your just now seeing $30 (courtesy ) overdraft fees one wounders how little knowledge these people handling your money know. The company doesn't even offer overdraft protection. They did when I started with them, guess they just got ride of it and failed to let their loyal customers know. God knows with the new retirement community their getting plenty of new customers, they don't need their loyal ones. Just know, if you overdraft by $.66 you will not get 24 hours to correct it and they will charge u $30 for it. This back up account will be closed shortly. Shame how far their customer service has fallen. They absolutely deserve the low rating they have by the way the treat their customers in person and handle their customers money so poorly. Do better Red Rocks!

    Unfortunately, I have seen Red Rocks go down hill in that past few years after banking with them for over 10. You can tell their operations are in shambles and that there are not the correct steps being taken to correct this. I would not suggest keeping any money here as they will charge you more fees than any other financial institution. This bank went so far as to continue to take money from my account and charge additional fees (in an absurd amount) even after I closed the account. Their operations are absolutely unethical. I have since gone to Navy Federal with no issues. I would suggest looking elsewhere for your banking needs.

    This credit union is disgraceful. They have consistently messed up on our mortgage and car loans by themselves. After speaking with them to straighten out the issue that they caused, they repeatedly kept the same mistake. Upon contacting us on call backs they kept using the wrong number even after we tried correcting this as well. This bank is more than incompetent and should not handle people's money or deal with their credit scores.

    pure misery. total waste of time. insane unspeakable level of incompetence. then manager calls to profusely apologize. then after wasting 3 days of my life then say they don't do commercial loans. very low level.

    Fees fees fees and bad customer service! I wouldn't trust these guys with your money. My account has been hacked and compromised so many times. Things coming in and out unauthorized. A ton of transactions pend and when they go through they could be late. Then on top of that you get a $30 fee every time that happens, to every transaction... When you go to protect your account you have to get a new card that can take 7-10 days!! So you can't use your money for that long then on top of that your account could still be compromised. They said there's nothing wrong with the account. Well obviously if I'm paying for people's meals and stuff! Find a more reputable bank to put your money. One with 0 fees and forgiveness to when something happens to your account! Or just use cash!

    My experience was not a great one. The people are nice, but there’s no follow through with their work at all. They do offer great rates, but you have to stay on them about getting documents back that are needed to process things like loans. You would think they would want to keep your businesses but that was not the case for me. I had a loan with them and was wanting to refinance through them, but never received the documents they reported they were sending. I went with another bank. They were supposed to send a letter to me stating my account was paid off, never did. If you work with this bank stay on top of them.

    This place is always a hassle. No other locations in Colorado, they cant take payments over the phone for credit cards but they can for auto loans what a joke. Also during COVID-19 with all the restrictions these guys are bot not offering any help with waving a service fee to make a payment. If you have a auto loan with Red Rocks you have to pay a service fee of 10.00 for them to process your payment! The same bank you have the loan through. I wish I selected a different bank for my auto loan and for my credit card. I'm moving my accounts to a credit union willing to help out and make things easy. Never will I choose Red rocks for any banking service's again.

    Thanks solely to the alert and caring employees at Red Rocks Credit Union, a would be identity thief failed in his bid to steal tens of thousands of dollars from my home equity line of credit. Although the would be thief somehow was able to obtain my personal information, including my social security number and my Red Rocks Credit Union account number, when he called and identified himself as me and requested that money be wired out of my home equity line of credit, Red Rocks management became suspicious and did not approve the wire transfer. It's that kind of personal service and attention to detail that sets Red Rocks Credit Union apart from other financial institutions.

    We've been members for decades, from when this was a high quality credit union, but it's provided very thin customer service and constant difficulties for us over the past many years. Debit cards are getting compromised all the time on their end. Automated card services never works. The UX is shoddy. Hold times for an agent are long to interminable. Just gave up after 40 minutes holding. Will try again later. We've held on this long to avoid resetting all my automations with a new credit union, but it's time to say goodbye to Red Rocks.

    I am getting charged late fees on bills and rent because they have been holding my funds every time I make a transaction. I called and they said that is just how they choose to do it. I think I should close my account with them. Worst service and excuse ever!

    I’d recommend this credit union to anyone looking for a loan at best interest rate. I applied online one evening and by early afternoon the next day a gentleman by the name of Donovan reached out to follow up and assist with me the loan. He told what documents he needed from which I sent right over and by 9am the next day he was calling me back to tell me the loan was approved and gave a couple of options for me to choose what was right for me. In speaking with him I knew he had my best interest in mind and was very knowledgeable and informative of my different options. So you your looking to open a new bank account, get a loan, or any other banking needs be sure to give Red Rocks a try!

    I have been a Red Rocks CU member for a long time, but I just recently applied for an auto loan through them and Donovan was so incredibly helpful. He was straightforward and honest about parts of the car buying experience that no one else in the car industry wanted to share with me. Not only that, he made sure there was a rush order on the loan approval, and the corresponding certificate was in my inbox about an hour later--just in time for my meeting with the dealership. Very impressed.

    I decided to give Red Rocks another chance. I tired to open a debit card to use with apple cash. Unfortunately, the litany of errors continues. They misprinted the name on the card, failed to attach the card to my account and after 3 days of phone calls, much of which is spend on hold, I have yet to activate the debit card. Excuses and apologies aside, they don't seem to have the competence to carry out what should be a simple transaction. RR is my junk account similar to my junk gmail account. Any real banking is done with a competent credit union. . I have been a member for 20+ years. I've all but closed my account due the poor service and total disregard for the member security. I have written letters to the president and left feedback with the tellers. They make excuses, and have no apologies for their gross mishandling of my personal information. They have repeatedly miss addressed documents and then have the audacity to charge me for the returned mail. The fees are atrocious and good luck if you want to speak to a human being. They have chosen to forgo their community focus and are pretending to be a big bank. Unfortunately they do not have the competency to be successful. I'm very disappointed because they used to be one of the best credit unions in the area.

    RRCU is honestly pretty cool. They gave me a car loan when it was an emergency. I didn't really have very much/good credit at the time. I have had the car now for 3 years and every month the car payment comes out of my account same day, same time, no surprises. Because it's so easy, I don't even know my account number. I think that this bank is more like "automated" style, so you have to set things up and be patient when you try to call them. There aren't a million people working at a million locations, so you have to be patient but EVERY problem I have ever had has been solved the same day, just not instantly. They are all really nice people.
