RBFCU - Boerne S Main St, Boerne

We should have read the reviews before going into this RBFCU. The low rating it gets is truly indicative to what we experienced. It is amazing that it will allow you to join if you are simply put on a company's email list. But, being a veteran and a federal government retiree does not qualify you to join. Absolutely amazing. I would not join if they paid me.

Horrible service. Tried to refinance my car loan and they completely neglected my application and never followed up with me. They made me and my husband open accounts only to have nothing processed. Called them and asked about finalizing the loan and they never got back to me again. Not to mention the whole banking via Skype is too impersonal for me.

I have been a member with RBFCU for close to 20 years. Very disappointed with their policy on overdraft protection and ACH posting. Be aware that RBFCU has an ACH clearing system that promotes overdraft activity on accounts to earn fee income. I just closed my 5 business accounts today. Best decision I have made in years!!

Recently met with an account specialist and branch manager and received excellent service and felt like they went out of their way to take care of my wife and I. Great rates, good service options, and great customer service. I highly recommend.

One word to describe this bank, thieves. Stole my hard earned money and then treated me like scum. Rank right up there with Bank of America.

I’m only sharing because I see some negative comments. We’ve been banking with RBFCU for several years now and I just went in and opened a business account this week. We’ve always been happy with the service and services and the rates they offer. They may not be as warm and cuddly as other banks but after years of dealing with the “big box” banks I’ll take RBFCU any day. They do things a little differently but everyone I’ve ever encountered has been very friendly and absolutely helpful.

Interest rates are usually pretty good and they offer a nice variety of services as well as working with local auto dealerships to help with lending. Overall we've been pleased with their services.

We received checks from USAA for some CDs that my mother left for us. The checks were made out to us but the trust account was at rbfcu. They would not just deposit the checks for me but the did for my brother. Same checks. Different names. That's why we use USAA

I usually have an okay experience at RBFCU but this location just seems to be a one-off in being very snobby! If you ask them anything they look at each other and think you're asking them how to build a rocket ship!!! So rude. I really hate going to this location but it's the closest one to me!

I have been a member for 10 years, and have always received great service at this branch.
