    I've had several auto loans w/ PSECU & been a member for nearly 30 years. I was treated horribly after contracting covid Oct 2021. I missed a couple payments which was an oversight on my part. I owed around $700 total which I paid as soon as I realized. I was treated rudely. They cancelled all of my accounts and issued a repossession order for my vehicle. They were very quick to damage a long standing members credit score without hesitation and showed no compassion of my circumstance. There are limited branch locations and they provide limited & inferior services. I subsequently paid off the remainder of my auto loan a few months later, nearly $8,000. I suggest using other credit unions, i.e. Citadel, Police and Fire Federal, Benchmark Federal or TruMark Financial. Also all banks provide better financial rates and benefits than PSECU does. Drop PSECU asap they don't deserve your business. I agree, paying monthly auto loan was a complete pain in the butt and every time I call for any reason, I was on hold for over a half an hour. Terrible customer service.

    Cannot recommend. Been a member over 20 years and now they won’t send me a debit card. I’ve been about 2 months with no access to withdraw cash. They’ve even given me tracking numbers that don’t show evidence any cards were ever shipped. I cycle over $200,000 a year through this bank and this is how they treat me.

    I am sending this feedback with dismay after the experience that I have had with PSECU. I recently joined after reading the credit unions mission statement that says that they strive to provide life-long value to their members, empowering them to achieve more. Well my experience shows otherwise. Shortly after becoming a member I accepted a pre-approved offer for a credit card and then I applied for a credit limit increase and a line of credit. I was denied for a credit limit increase although my credit file is very mature and shows me responsibly using two other high limit credit cards for several years with low utilization. For the line of credit I was asked to provide not only two consecutive paystubs, but also a paystub from three months prior. I do not have a problem providing this info and I provided it as soon as possible, but I can’t help but to think I am being racially profiled. The requested documents were absurd and well over the top. No other financial institution is requesting this substantial amount of documents for these kind of lending products.

    Don't bother trying to reach anybody. They never answer the phone. Don't act like you want business if you won't bother to assist people over the phone.

    PSECU offers great loan rates and the most horrific customer service. If you map out the hardest way to accomplish a goal I promise you they can exceed it. I have never missed a payment and have tried to get information unsuccessfully for 2 years. Never again will I use this lender - I will go straight to Members 1st.

    MAR. 2022 GAVE UP on the app entirely. Today, the phone tree did not even seem to work. Give out of state members a break! NOV. 2021 NEW online interface way SLOWER than the old one, still. . SEPT. 2021 NEW online interface way SLOWER than the old one. . Thought they were the biggest credit union in the US? Quality of infrastructure, phone support, apps, and web site is currently POOR. As a longtime member (80s), it's very disappointing.

    My husband and I refinanced our car through PSECU and got a much better rate, however their customer service is absolutely horrible. They also could not make it a bigger pain to pay said car note. Every month I have to jump through hoops just to get them to take my money. I'm genuinely considering refinancing AGAIN so I can be rid of the annoyance every month.

    Been a customer for years and have various products with them. But over the weekend I noticed suspicious unknown transactions with my checking account. Been trying for two days to talk to a person but now I am locked out of PSECU because I forgot the pin they gave me four years ago. No way to get a person on the line if you don't have a membership number and a PIN. So in about four messages I try to explain the situation and need a new PIN. They tell me I must call their number and extension #3919 but here is the catch, you CAN'T get through to a person without entering acct info and a PIN. So here I am can't get through and my detailed messages with suspicious transactions are ignored and they write I must call by phone and report. SMH !!!

    Disrespectful staff!! They don’t follow through with there jobs. Then lock your bank card to get you to call them as a reach out tactic happening way toooo much. Sad, used to be a decent place. Maria in loans specifically.

    My wife and I have used PSECU for a number of years as a checking account. During that time we have painfully dealt with customer service, pin resetting, and unanswered emails. The technology systems they use must be antiques, even now if you try to fill out a contact request on the website you'll get a 403 error! Try to send a message in the app? Nope! Won't send! I guess your customers trying to contact you is a joke? Now for my main complaint. Account pins. It's stated for additional security you have a second pin, which is not the pin for your debt card but another pin, that you can't choose, and somehow have to remember for the 3 times a year you need it. So what do you, and all other PSECU users do? We write it down, on the same slip of paper or a note in our phone with all of our other account information. Just like your grandma and her notebook with passwords in it. That is not security! Any other financial institution, gives you multiple ways to verify your identity, and usually it's a quick process. At PSECU, it's multiple questions and then they send you a new pin! I'm the mail! Three weeks later! What? No. This is not security. This is refusal of service. We will be leaving. I can't jump through hoops every time I need to call, which for what we do, could be handled via email, or a option on the website. I would not use PSECU if you are tech inclined, and prefer to never call, but then again you'll still need to deal with that account pin, which you will definitely forget. Save yourself the trouble now.

    Slow banking process, small local banks are much more efficient and help you quickly get in and out unlike PSECU.

    Excellent service, rates and fraud detection department. I would not use any other banking institution other than PSECU.
