I highly recommend Provident Funding! I believe I got the best rate and pricing from any of the places I called. My mortgage specialist was Susan Duong. She is the best mortgage person I've ever worked with and will send everyone I know who needs a new mortgage or a refinance. She was there for me every step of the way and explained everything, even multiple times if I forgot or didn't understand. The whole team was great but even when my loan moved onto the next steps, I stayed in contact with her. After I locked in, I was able to close in about 2 weeks.

My original home loan was with Provident, and I had been pleased with them from the start, so I chose to go with them for the last hurrah, a loan to finish up household improvements before my wife and I both retired. As I went down the list of originators I chose Susan. That proved to be a great choice! Everything went smoothly, even when we ran into a few minor snags with documentation. Through out the entire process Susan was typically one step ahead of my questions, and when I did have a question she responded promptly. What I expected to be a stressful nightmare went far smoother than I expected. I would highly recommend Susan (and Provident) to anyone who is shopping for a loan.
