Provident Bank Raritan Rd, Clark

Me and my friend went to this bank and we were welcomed and that made us happy

I’ve been to many provident bank locations before, but I’ve never been treated with this level of disrespect and unprofessional service before. The bank teller obviously didn’t know what she was doing and what was a simple deposit turned into a complete and utter lack of customer service. When taking care of customers- make sure you’re asking the right questions, instead of making assumptions. If I’ve already handed you a slip, why would you give me another one to fill out. And, when I asked “ do I have to fill out another one ; it’s a deposit ” , I was given a response by the elderly teller with a bob in a disrespectful tone and told “ obviously “. When I have to step up , and do your job, that’s when there’s a big underlying issue.

Terrible place with terrible management. They don’t know the basic answers to common questions. I don’t recommend this place at all.

This is a horrible place,,,they find any excuse not to help u,,,i had to go to my dauthers bank ,,,(Bank of america)with my dauther wish banks there n they changed my check from provident bank,,,beautiful people n service ) cause provident refused to change it,,even though i had 3 picture ids,,,unprofessional ,,arrogant,,,PROVIDENT BANK,,,I'm sure you have lost customers cause of the employs u have at this branch,,,,people stay away....horrible....0 stars,,,can't delete it...uughhh

Arrogant attitude of the teller Carol Garcia. I never experienced such behavior in other branches.

I went to this Provident with the notion that everyone was going to be rude based off comments. It was exactly the opposite. All of the staff was welcoming and helpful. Only issue I had was with the policy. Why must I be charged to change my own money into money. Regardless, if you have an account you are charged 10% of the total for counting change. It makes absolutely no sense, but they’ll probably right off as “it’s an expanse to maintain the machine”. Aside from that, the people were cool.

My mom came to cash a check from this bank that was issued to her and because she want a customer of the bankt hey charheg her a 10 dollar fee. I've never been to anybank that charges customers to cash a check from their own bank. Won't be dealing with this bank again. Very dissapointed.

Yeah completely non-helpful at this branch, I recently tried opening a checking account and was turned away because I did not have proof of address. I went to a different branch a week later and had a completely different experience, super helpful, and they even commented that they were not sure why this branch was unable to help me.

If I could give them no stars I would the teller and person that was working the floor had no interest in helping me I recommend anyone going to this bank to not to!!!! Worst customer service ever!!!
