Went to deposit a check, the teller said that everything was fine multiple times, when I checked online banking a few days later I noticed that not only was the check not deposited, but I was surcharged for trying to deposit the check for an amount that was almost equal to its value.

We have been banking, both with our business and personal lines, since it was Community Credit Union. We have been very pleased with the Customer service by the Tellers and Teller Manager (now VP of Bank) Jessica for years. The Personal Bankers at the East Richardson location are better (Arapaho & Bowser) but the Tellers at this location are by far more knowledgeable and friendly. Not loving the transition to Prosperity Bank. Seems Prosperity is more interested in adding fees and taking away customer connections and contacts. very disappointed. Considering moving accounts but not at all because of the customer service from the Tellers.

I am working harder than I've ever worked before to try and make the same amount of money. A customer pays me with a check that I am blessed to receive. Until I try and cash it at Prosperity Bank in Richardson TX. They charge me 1.5% just to cash it because I was not an account holder with them. It took $26 of my money and the teller ever smiled and said, "do you still want to cash it". Funny thing was the poster they had up at the counter read, The fee to cash a check is 1.5% unless you would like to speak to a banker about opening up an account. Hell No!

Very bad customer service, not enough people for the size of the bank, the app is just the website and is hard to use. Pick another bank, this one is terrible

Spoke with the branch manager Jessica, seems that a bank should be able to break a $20 that was pulled from their ATM just moments before. Unimpressed to say the least.

Free business checking is no longer free. “ Treasury Center” banking is unnecessarily complicated and hold times to speak with someone are unacceptably long. Bankers at the branch in Richardson are friendly but are limited in what they can help with. This branch seems chronically understaffed. I do not recommend this bank if you value your time and have work to get done for your business. Update: after being disconnected each day I call over the last week, I went in to close my account. 1 banker working with 3 people waiting. Waiting for manager for over 20 minutes so far. They require account holders to sign a form in person to close an account. Worst. Service. Ever. Don’t bother with this bank.

Went to the teller and asked info about closing an account, was told to speak to one of their reps. I asked if I could go ahead and transfer the funds from that account over to another one, and was told that the rep could do that. Waited 30 min, two other customers left while I waited. When I spoke to the rep, was told that they can only close the account but the transfer is done by the teller. Now I’m on another line waiting again on the teller. I was only going to close my business account, but now I’m probably going to just completely leave this bank entirely, and it’s not just this interaction, but also the new fees they’ve added.

Legacy Texas is awful! Money transfers via "popmoney" takes way too long! There are too many other options to transfer money to other people that doesn't take a week to complete the transaction...like chase quickpay, google wallet, PayPal, you name it, it's faster. The website is constantly"down for maintenance". Debit cards only last about a month before the chip falls off the front and the swipe starts peeling off the back. They gave me a card one time that wasn't even stamped with numbers it was just printed out. Get with the times legacy you aren't a local credit union anymore. I'll be going back to chase!

I visit the bank weekly and speak with the drive in tellers. The girls are friendly, accommodating and professional.
