Unbelievably worthless. Found out that a mistake by a hospital was sent to this collection company. Never knew it was sent as I had paid the bill back in 2018. Finally see something on my credit report in 2020. Send this company all the proof that it was paid. It has never been removed. So aggravating as it has affected my score now for 2 years and it never comes off.

I just got off the phone with Poulet. She was incredibly unhelpful. She could not provide proof of me owing this company a debt. Since I have not signed anything that says I owe this company a debt, this company has illegally bought this debt and is attempting to collect a debt I do not owe. I asked for an itemized bill and she said she couldn't help me. It has to be done by mail. This company is a scam.

Stephanie was BEYOND rude wouldn’t tell me how to resolve it and as soon as I asked her to be patient with me since i have a disability I had to locate the number and office I didn’t know what my file number was she was even worse and didn’t give me any information and just took mine. I tried calling back and she just kept me on hold I had talked to Rebecca and she gave me more information. The supervisor was beyond nice and helpful I think her name was Kendal. Anyways I was able to get things solved with the super visor

Professional finance company is beyond rude. They have no information that they will share from the debt collector and they have no will or want to help solve your issue or come up with solutions. This company is far the worst I have ever dealt with. The things they do to collect $40 is remarkable, they treat you like you walked out on 4mill. They have zero customer service skills. They lack professionalism. They lack all that it takes to be in business. If this was any other organization outside of debt collecting they wouldn't be in business more than a week.

Pfc didn't inform me about a small debt. The first time I heard of this was when I was served papers. Now I'm disabled. I have Medicare/ medicaid it just takes s phone call to fix. When I called to resolve this as requested by the court. They are rude rude rude. I have immaculate credit. I pay all my bills. So why would I not pay a small bill.

Had an insurance coverage not go through - worked with my health insurance, they reached out. I reached out to follow up. The company that caused the original miscommunication reached out. Its been three years now and they not only significantly struggle to communicate with me, but when the paperwork was sent in the staff were aggressive and not particularly helpful in resolving the issue. Because of their inability to communicate or follow through with this, my credit score dropped from nearly perfect to entirely average. I really, really wish they would reach out or follow up with me and my questions. EDIT - Called, again. The email I was instructed to send paperwork to is a "no response" email, so they can't respond to your questions or information. They also don't call to confirm or deny what has been sent in, or to let you know if the case is closed.

So, I had a bill from Alpine Ear Nose and Throat, which I had thought I had paid, but apparently forgot about. It got sent to PFC, and I've not received one call or letter from them regarding this debt. I only found out about it on my credit report. Tonight, I was served court papers which I think is absolutely absurd. There's not account number, so I can't set up anything with them to pay this off. I admit I owe the debt, I'm not disputing that, but to file a lawsuit against me? There's no need for that. I left a voicemail, so hopefully I can get an account number and take care of it online and then not have to go to court. Although, I will be demanding that in writing that the court case be dropped. UPDATE: 5/06/21 I spoke with Sam this morning. I had left a voicemail last night, and after reading all these negative reviews I was expecting the worst. However, he was really pleasant and helpful. He explained how the process worked, and in 72 hours it should be resolved. I was definitely pleasantly surprised, and I wanted to thank Sam for being so understanding.

Wish I could give them 0 stars! Employees are rude and the company has immoral collection behaviors. I disputed the account TWICE, which should have reverted the account back to the original creditor. Instead, they are trying to sue me! Working with the original creditor, they were able to have PFC place the account on a 60 day hold while the original creditor, but PFC refuses to cancel the court date. The lady on the phone said they are still going to actively try to collect $ from me even though the account is being recalled by the original creditor. I will definitely be filing complaints with the BBB and anywhere else I can find. These kinds of collection tactics are against the law.

I'm giving three stars because the rep I spoke to (Kathy) was very nice and very helpful when I called upon stumbling upon a debt in June 2021 and the debt being from Sept. 2019 - which I'd never been informed of. She helped me out and stated she would send information on to the right team to be investigated; however, I have yet to hear from them again in regards to my current case. I would have rated lower if Kathy had not been so wonderful and understanding since she was able to give my number and they never called or left a voicemail when they got case.

Just like a lot of other people I was lied to. I was told that our agreement would be submitted to as a deletion on a certain date. That date was almost a month ago. After checking my credit report every day I figured I would call again. One person told me they would submit the deletion today. Called back and was told they had submitted for it around the time we agreed. Someone is lying. These people are terrible! Was passed on to a supervisor and got a voice mail. To think they are a local company? Great service. You would expect that from someone in another country! Terrible.

Charges for process services that do not serve upon the person, then when you tell them you can prove it, they tell you they have a sworn affidavit that it was. The process server lied, I was out of town and the house sitter was served, I let them know I would pay the interest on the bill and the bill but not the process service fee, as they did not serve it on my person, they said they are going to go for the judgment as I’m not satisfying the entire bill. This is why you need a reputable company that will work correctly!

I got a call from them earlier this week about a medical bill. It happens to be from when I had Medicaid. This would have been paid in full. They gave me the name of the facility of the original bill. I called them and they can't find any records of me owing a thing. They claimed I've made payments to legitimize the debt, but this is the first I've heard of this "account." It's a flat out lie. I contacted them addressing the obvious flaws in their claims, and they do not respond. Absolutely horrid that they're trying to scam people like this.

Professional Finance Company entered a debt collection entry in my credit report despite bill being paid. 07/2020 - Hospital visits and hospital entered incorrect address 09/24 - I learned that my hospital bill was in collections ~1241.07 10/2020 - I made two payments totaling just over 971.56 and hospital said they would forward to collections. 12/2 - Made final payment of 12/8 - Professional Finance Company entered entered inaccurate and spiteful entries in my credit report for ~$300 yet they received payments made in October and a client that is actually paying I contacted Professional Finance Company. They requested proof of payment and it was emailed. After 10 calls and emails they are now saying they are waiting for the same proof of payment from the same client that previously forwarded two other payments. This entry has caused a 60 point drop

This company called me and asked my information. They are saying that I am on collection. I say who do I owe to? What is the company name so If I think that I forgot to pay I can take care of it now. But they keep asking my home address and more. Why would I share my personal information to you since you can’t even tell me anything about who put me on collection. Then they hang up on me. Called back and asked again but they only want to get your information. Your cell phone and name won’t be enough for them. BS. DONT YOU CALL BACK AND BOTHER AGAIN!!!! Screw your company policy!!!! Do not expect to get any information about your debt from anyone who answers the phones. I received no notice that I was sent to collections from 2018. A debt was reported to my credit Jan 2022 and no one wants to help me. I took it upon myself to contact the company myself and work on clearing my account since I have proof of payment from 2018. Do not even both getting the manager involved she is no help either. Everyone will get extremely defensive when you start asking questions about the communication they have with “their client”. What they are doing has to be illegal.

Honestly at 1st i was not happy, but it really it was the situation. (medical bills, overpriced i think, but hey im alive and better than i was before surgery so.....) At the end of the day i owe a debt!!! After working with them, i found they are good people and are willing to work with you if you communicate. If your in a bind, just call them, they are more than willing to find a solution.

Contacted PFC to pay my debt if they would remove it from my credit report and the agent said they can't do that but that obviously isn't the case according to some of the reviews. I asked the agent to talk to his manager to see if they could work that out. He refused but transferred me to the managers voice mail. So definitely not resolved.

I had an outstanding bill. I called PFC. the rep was super nice. I requested a settlement, but they offered no settlement. That’s okay I guess. I did owe the debt. I requested a deletion, which was denied until the rep saw that all the mail they had sent was returned due to a bad address they had on file. She then promised a manual deletion as they never were able to send a letter and I paid the debt. Four stars pending the actual manual deletion from my credit report. Rep was really nice and I appreciate the delete.

I don't know the person you're looking for, I have no idea who she is. I have told you guys this 20 times but yet you keep calling our cell phones, our home phones, even our fax machine. I received an account from PFC for a balance remaining from an ultrasound service I had previously. I had never received the original account from Colorado Imaging Associates, and had called the hospital to enquire about it and was informed I had a $0 balance. Still, I was aware of this $35 charge as it was listed as my responsibility in my insurance records. So, no problem, I just used the Papaya app that PFC promotes and it was a seamless process. I received an email receipt for the payment. The only issue was that I did not receive the further email indicating that Colorado Imaging Associates had accepted the payment, so I called PFC and spoke with a very nice lady who asked the usual identify verification questions and confirmed the payment was accepted. Note: I understand people are a little hesitant to provide personal information when they receive a phone call, but the PFC staff are only doing the job that federal legislation requires them to in asking for identify verification. With how ridiculously complicated the US health system is, it is very likely that you'll be receiving accounts from multiple sources for even the most basic of health service, so it is very often the case that additional accounts will come in many months after you thought you had paid for the service, you miss them, and they arrive at a collections agency. So, if you receive a call and would prefer not to provide personal information on that call, simply ask for their company name and town, Google their phone number, and return their call and then provide the information. Although account errors can occur, it's not a scam for a service to expect to be paid for a procedure it provided to you.

Like many people, I forgot about a debt that was several years old. I no longer received a collection notice in the mail and the debt had fallen off my radar. Completely my fault! When I called to pay the debt, Vanessa was very kind and respectful. I was able to pay the amount in full so they waived the finance charge/interest. I wasn't expecting that. I had a medical bill that I completely forgot about from 2018. I received a call and set up a automatic payment plan with the agreement that it wouldn't report on my credit. I made payments for 6 months and I had forgot about the auto debit and just assumed that it would continue until it was paid. Last month my credit report was hit with the remaining balance of the bill. A rep called me today about the bill and said that need to make a payment plan or pay in full. I advised her that I had a plan in place and "you guys" stopped it. She informed me that the payment amount that was taken wasn't enough and was only good for 6 months and it was my responsibility to call back and revisit it. I thought that if they were getting some money on a regular basis that it's better than no money. I admitted that the debit was still owed and agreed to set up a payment plan again but the amount would pay off the balance in 6 months but I wanted the amount to reflect on the credit report every month to show it being paid. She stated that it will be removed once the balance was cleared and they don't updated the balance amount because it wouldn't make a difference on the credit report. I explained that I have the right to show accurate debit on my report and it should be reported as such. She explained that she understands where I was coming from but that was the companies policy. The young woman didn't come across as arrogant but was straight to the point which I can appreciate. The company as a whole needs better rules to help people out.

I called this Company @10:28 am, I called to get the account that I paid for removed off of my credit. Lilly is the customer service rep that I spoke with. I had to verify my account, which is normal, but she read the debt collection blurb. They did report a full deletion on my credit, and that it is upon the credit bureaus to delete it. She did send out a paid in full letter. She was able to send it to my email. Very professional.
