Pro Title FL Winkler Rd, Fort Myers

Wow not many good reviews for Pro Title and there won’t be one from me. We experienced all the negative points made by previous reviewers and then some! I surprised the company is still active. We bought our house from a court appointed trustee (who deserved her own negative review) and Pro Title were the appointed agent. Poor to no communication, consistently chased by our agent to progress the sale and then to procrastinate for 6 weeks after to sale to file the sale documents with the county clerks office which delayed our applications for building permits for needed work on the home. We have bought a number of homes over the years and I can honestly say this was, by far, the worse purchase we’ve experienced.

Do yourself a favor and find a different title company. No one will return your calls or emails. Very unprofessional and a waste of time.

Along with Jesse Bryl from Real Estate Brilliance at Englewood, FL are totally unprofessional, non-reliable, and even dishonest because they said they did something and after a day when we checked back because the transaction was not done, they just gave us an excuse telling us that we were in their list of things to do for that morning when they told us the day before it was done. The closing was scheduled for May 5th and today May 18th, although the closing was done the moneys, which were to be done in a wired money transfer didn't reach our bank when they said. Instead of them taking the time to make phone calls and checking the status of the transaction, as part of the 'customer service' they wanted us to call the bank and find out ourselves the status of said transfer, although we did and call them back to ask them to check for us, they wouldn't do it. To make things worse, after we signed the final Real Estate Settlement Agreement document with the specific amount charged with all closing charges, the title company charged to us the wired money transfer when it was not included in the closing settlement signed document. Our rating is a "C -" and never will use neither of these two businesses.

This company was courteous and very professional. Quick to answer any of my questions and if they couldn’t get to the phone, they replied with a quickness. I would suggest them to anyone who needed their services.

Always making it happen for my closings. They do whatever it takes.

WOW what a poor experience with Pro Title of Florida, Inc in Fort Myers FL. The owner and lead agent Tonia is unresponsive and lacks basic communication skills. We were delayed a week on the closing for my buyer due to the title company follow through . The staff as no answers since their hands are tied from their boss for any information for all involved. I would steer very clear from this company for any transaction. I wouldn't be surprised if they go under. Believe the negative reviews!

The woman who runs this business, I believe her name is Tonia, has got to be the most rude, and unprofessional person I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I had a contract on a house in Fort Myers that fell through. I was supposed to receive my deposit back, and it has been well over a month and still no refund from Pro Title Fl. I did nothing but ask for my deposit back. Then she blames her ineptness on the USPS for not delivering the check. Then she insulted me and told me I need to take Prozac. This is how you speak to your customers? Tell them to take Prozac? For your sloppy work and ineptness? Really?? If you are looking for a title company, please look for someone more reputable. If a deal falls through or you are entitled to your money back, chances are dealing with Tonia, you will not receive it, and you will be insulted as well. Horribly run business!

We arrived for closing and she had nothing prepared. We sat for 90 mins waiting it was disorganized and will not use ever again.

Staff smokes in the office and had to wait over 6 hours to close.
