Primis Bank and ATM Coliseum Dr, Hampton

Wonderful Bank serving my business and personal banking needs!!! I bank at other banks and usually have long waits or holds(with phone calls) but with Primis the staff are ready and eager to help the moment I call or come in. The staff are very kind and helpful and if there is a difficult issue with a loan or other matter they will investigate it and get back to me very quickly with an answer. Thank you all!!!

Incredible, well managed bank. Every employee is great or outstanding. I have been dealing with this branch since they opened and always been impressed.

I have been with this bank for about six years (they were Virginia Company Bank then) and I have ABSOLUTELY NO complaints about them! I LOVE that they are so personable! They know me and my spending habits. So much so, that they KNEW when someone else was using my card! One of the ladies called me and asked if I was in the area where my card had just been used, I said no. She was thoughtful enough to ask if I would need money on me until my new card arrived (she knows I don't walk with cash). Instead of terminating the card, she froze it until I made my way to the atm to get some cash, I then called her back and then she terminated the card! I LOVE how they look out for us here! I wish ALL banks were like this!

The entire staff is awesome. They greet me by name and treat me with love and respect. I took my granddaughter with me to the bank one day and when we left she said, "grandma, they knew your name", I said yes, "baby they did". My nine year old was impressed. When my small business applied for Pandemic funds, the application was confusing and apparently I was missing the answer to one of the questions, so the app was slated incomplete. SonaBank to the rescue. SonaBank called me to ask me if I knew my application was incomplete, walked me through the question, I missed, which allowed me to complete the application, and receive a funding grant! Thank you SonaBank! I've built a special relationship with Sonya and Janet and they are the best!

I’ve been banking here for over 3 years. I have encountered numerous situations when discussing my account, the empathy that this company gives its members as a whole is sad. They have no understanding, and have nonchalant attitudes. When trying to give details on situations the representatives always speak over me, and rushes me off the phone. No longer do i care to bank with this place. The respect and understanding I’ve been receiving lately has showed me that this is not where i belong. I wish this bank the best, but i believe I’m going to move on to another branch, where being caring and having compassion while showing your customers respect is mandatory.
