Don’t bother going here. I walked up to the door which was open but the owners security gate was locked. The guy inside said he was busy. I asked if I should come back later and he gets up from his chair and says what do you want. I said “nothing” and walked away. “Have a good day Sir”. Horrible customer service. Place looks the Old crotchety man lives in the premises. I recommend anywhere but here.

Horrible customer service! Went there to inquire about some jewelry I had that needed to fixed and some to possible sell, and I asked if they did appraisals. First off the blonde older lady working there rolled her eyes at me when I asked if they were open,(it was 11:20 am and they were supposed to open at 11 am) then when I came in she huffed and puffed that she hadn't set up yet. It's not my fault you showed up to work late lady.... Next she had me wait for a second which was fine, but when she came over to"help"me she acted like she'd rather be talking to her friend who was sitting in a the chair nearby. I asked how much a couple pieces I had of jewelry would cost to be repaired and she quoted me. Next I asked about appraisals to which she informed me they didn't do, okay that was fine too, finally I asked about a ring I had to possibly sell, she looked at it lazily, pretended to test it for gold and came back with a ridiculous offer of $170 for the gold. I'm not an expert by no means but I have a lot of jewelry and have sold some too. Never have I ever been low balled like that. Just a day ago at the swap meet a gentleman selling jewelry there offered me $500 for the ring and he said I could keep my diamonds out of it! I thought I'd go to a real jewelry store and see what I'd be offered but never did I imagine that the old lady at presidio jewelers would be so shady! Warning to all, stay away if you want good customer service or a fair deal!!

I sold some silver ware there before and we were able to come to an agreement... My business partner and I were satisfied...

On vacation, nice younger man, only works Saturdays. No pressure, down on price, paid cash, no tax. EZ Peazy!

Several years ago I took some gold and silver to receive quotes from other companies in the business of buying jewelry and precious metals. Included was a Point Loma firm frequently on TV which promises top dollar. I then went to Presidio and received substancially more than the other offers. I have been doing business there ever since. It's a small efficient shop and when I drop in they are sometimes serving other customers but when it's my turn they give me painstaking attention and consideration. When it comes to being honest and trustworthy, they have my vote of confidence. It is refreshing to find such honest and ethical people. We recommend Presidio most highly.

Bought my wife a stand in wedding ring yellow and white gold very pretty and great price will be returning today actually for a white gold diamond band for me also in great condition and fair price can't wait..👌

I have taken jewelry and coins in and they gave me information I asked for and also let me know what to look for in counterfeits
