PNC Bank Moffett Rd, Semmes

My girlfriend tried to cash a check here, that was a PNC Bank check. Upon showing her driver's license the teller informed her she would need a second form of identification. She went though a long list of things they accepted an didn't accept. We wound up having to drive across the street to Walmart to purchase her a Alabama fishing license for a second ID .... Which only requires you to show your drivers license to obtain. When we returned to the bank with fishing license in hand she was ask to take a seat while the teller verified that it was ok to cash the check. The manager then announced that they would have to contact the company that wrote the check to verify that the amount was correct. This took about 30 minutes. Once she was satisfied that the check was legitimate she proceeded to count out the money.... For probably a additional 10 minutes. The sad thing about this was the check was not for a very large amount of money. I have honestly opened a checking and savings account in much less time and aggravation at another bank. The staff was honestly rude, their policies border on insane, and I have NEVER seen slower service in my life... Total time to cash a check 3 hrs. Do not use this bank.

How do you contact PNC back? No location ever answer.

As long as you know what your doing at a bank this is a great one .

Everyone I've worked with here has been polite and done exactly what a reasonable person would expect. There is a PNC closer, but I go here because they learn your name if you are a regular and make you feel at home.
