PNC Bank N 2nd St, Loves Park

I have been coming to this bank for about five years now. Their service has definitely gone downhill since I started going to this branch. I went through the drive-through and spent almost 20 minutes waiting for a full transaction. I needed to get a cashiers check, and sent up my two forms of identification to one clerk. In the middle of the transaction they changed out clerks and I had a different person. This person then disappeared for about 10 minutes, and I saw a food delivery driver with Taco Bell and the second clerk stopping outside to grab their lunch. After several more minutes of waiting, the first clerk I had finally pops back up on the screen to complete my transaction. All of this seemed incredibly unprofessional.

I had a pleasant experience as I had to go inside and make some changes to one of my accounts. The girl was extremely friendly and helpful.

This is the slowest bank I have ever been to in my life! It’s ridiculous to stay in the drive thru for 30-45 minutes to make a deposit! I’m suggesting that our company switch banks because that’s too long to wait daily to make our deposits and get change!

When i went to deposit my check with the fast cash option in the atm it wouldnt even give me the option and by that point its too late to 'reverse the transaction' went inside to explain i needed at least 20 dollars from that check for my gf to get home from work that night they were extremely unhelpful, didnt care that she would have to spend the night in a car with no gas in below freezing weather, and made me leave. I will be closing my account tomorrow and recomend never banking with pnc, and further say that the fast cash option is extremely unreliable it only works when you dont need it and if you really need the cash it wont give you the option at all. This is my 3rd bad experience with this pnc in the 6 months since i started my job.

Wasted an hour of my time to be told they wouldn't replace my faulty debt card. This branch has a 2.4 Google rating. Went to a branch that has a 4.0 rating a had a new card in 5 mins.

The drive-thru bank tellers are awesome. They are super friendly and help you quickly.

I never leave bad reviews even when I've had less than pleasant service but this had to be shared. My family has been trying to close a checking account of a deceased relative since Oct 3rd (5 weeks now) and we are getting nowhere. Obvious breakdown in their SOP's which has created excessive documentation at our expense and piece of mind. Still no resolution even though all legal papers from our attorneys were provided. We were able to close another checking account at Chase Bank the same day with no problems using the exact same paperwork. Avoid this bank and the hassle.

online says drive thru open until 6 - got there and it was closed - how hard it is it to update your hours online????

I have PNC and I love PNC. When I need help I call and they have everything ready to help me.

Love's park branch is staffed with slow moving tellers this place is always understaffed. Big smiles and greeting at the door is common but if tellers don't know what they doing it defeats the banking purpose.
