I rate this as a 1 only because there is no zero or negatives. I had a loan with Planet. There was no escrow account because I paid Insurance and taxes. They started an escrow acct. anyway. I supplied proof of payment and they removed the escrow. Then, a year later, they did it again., placing a charge on the account. I tried for 2 years to have it corrected to no avail. They sold the account to another company with the unwarranted charge still on the account. Since then, they purged all account information so there's no paper trail of their error. They tell me I can tell the new company the charge was an error, but Planet will not tell them. Now I'm stuck to pay for their incompetence. Advice: DO NOT USE PLANET! If your loan is sold to them, find a way to get it away from them.

Big fan! I have two homes with mortgages through Planet Home Lending. Both of which, we shopped around a bit and wasn't able to find a better rate anywhere else. Working with Shane on the loans was an amazing experience. He was an incredible resource for all of our questions--even the silly ones. Very quick to respond, incredibly patient with our ignorance, and a positive attitude. We've used Planet Home Lending twice now, and would absolutely use them again if we were to buy yet another property.

Daniel Hunt from Planet Home Lending helped my husband and I refinance our house. Daniel made the process extremely easy he walked us through the steps on how to fill out our documents when we first stated the process. He is extremely friendly makes you feel very comfortable and answers all of your questions. I’m extremely satisfied with his work ethic and professionalism. It has been a pleasure working with him.

We used Planet Home Lending to refi our home loan. Chris Oneill was super helpful, responsive, and attentive. It was the easiest thing we did while working from home during the quarantine. David Marcano is outstanding, he truly works for his customers. He has stayed in constant contact throughout the refinance process. He is my forever loan officer, he has done a new purchase & 2 refinances for us over the years and I will without a doubt use him over and over again. David gets you to closing in record time. When we wanted to get a home, we thought it was much further into the future than it was. David, with Planet Home Lending, gave us a call and let us know that this is a dream we can attain now. After going over our income and finances he was able to help us get 100% VA financing w/manual underwriting approval when our credit score wasnt as high as we needed it. He also helped with credit analysis and he instructed us to write derogatory explanation letter. He even went back and forth with the builders for us when we were negotiating the price of the home and was a true advocate for us. We are now in our beautiful dream house. I am strongly recommending him and his team for your next VA home loan.

Absolute clown show of an organization. From the first goober you deal with, until the last. If I had it to do over again, I would choose ANY different lending company. Maybe even a shady guy on the street. Do not put yourself through the unorganized cluster mess of dealing with these nincompoops. They never respond back to your questions. When they do respond, it isn't answering the question you asked. They'll tell you that you can close in 45 days, but plan on at least 4 months. And God forbid you try to do a cash-out refinance. We might as well have asked our labradoodle for an explanation of the process. If you do choose to go with planet, make sure you stay on top of them throughout the process, because they will not do it for you.

Good customer service, nice people, but their website is not user friendly for managing your mortgage or making payments.

The loan processing was performed extremely smooth. The discounts were applied in open and transparent fashion. My confidence in Planet Home lending has increased multiple folds. David's end to end knowledge on the process helped steered the next steps in the right direction. I will recommend Planet home lending and David to others for their sheer commitment and professionalism to see through any loan completion per your expectations.

I bought my home April of 2019 at a intrest rate 5.15%. At the end of six months I started receiving letters from various companies to refinance, the rates they were offering was too good to be true, so I called one that offering 3.5% and a $100 Visa gift card .(too good to be true) so I decided to call my mortgage company Planet Home Lending. My agent Mr. Daniel Hunt was there from beginning to end , he guided and explained the process, he was professional and patient and answered all my questions. I told him about the other company and what they were offering, he said I can get you that rate too, in the process whenever I call Mr. Hunt always remember me and my situation, he helped me to save hundreds of dollars on my mortgage and I will be forever grateful!!
