What an insufferable experience Planet Home Lending has put me through. I paid my June 2022 mortgage payment to my current mortgage company at the time (Sprout Mortgage), only to find out that after I sent the check to Sprout Mortgage, Sprout Mortgage had transferred my mortgage to Planet Home Lending. In a letter Planet Home Lending sent to me on June 8th, 2022, they were clear in stating that I need not worry, the payment I sent to Sprout Mortgage would be forwarded to them and I would incur no penalties or late fees. In a letter Planet Home Lending sent to me dated July 5th, 2022, they stated that my mortgage is seriously delinquent and in default , even though they had already deposited my July 2022 mortgage payment I sent to them in their account. To whom it may concern at Planet Home Lending: I am currently looking into ceasing being your customer due to your abysmal customer service and for treating a brand new customer quite poorly with erroneous threats. Before you place a customer in default, you should check their payment history and do your due diligence to collect the June 2022 payment from Sprout Mortgage as you claimed you would do in your letter sent to me dated June 8th, 2022.

I shopped with over 6 different lenders for my re-fi, and Chris Stark at Planet Home Lending was by far the best i mortgage loan officer I worked with by a mile. I was referred to Chris from a friend, and not only he was able to secure me the best rate & cost deal - he was always easily accessible even on nights/weekends, super prompt responses, set great expectations & was direct and honest throughout. He was extremely knowledgable and provided great advice throughout the process. I was a bit skeptical to work with Planet Home Lending compared to some bigger lenders i spoke with (Quicken Loans, LoanDepot etc) but Chris S. provided superior personalized service and I would highly recommend Chris S. at PHL to all friends/family!

Great company. Our home loan was transferred to Planet Home Lending shortly after we closed for our house. Shortly thereafter out of the blue, Planet Home Lending contacted us to refinance for a much lower interest rate. What a great surprise. The agent Erik Topalian that helped us was awesome. He’s very friendly and very knowledgeable. He made this process very easy. I am very happy that we are now with Planet Home Lending. Highly recommended

I would highly recommend Planet Home lending. I recently refinanced and although I was nervous about the process, Planet Home Lending made the entire process so smooth and easy. I was so pleased with my loan officer, Chris Stark. I sincerely appreciate his professionalism and patience with all my questions and concerns. He was so great in responding quickly. Can't say enough how pleased I am with my experience.

Chris was very knowledgeable and professional, and was responsive while he had a large volume of refinances to work on. The timing from first contact and follow through was excellent, and Planet Home Lending reached out to me to refinance their own loan to a lower rate for me with minimal or low fees, and resulted in a low rate possibly at the bottom. Everything went as explained and planned working with Chris. I would recommend Chris Stark and Planet Home Lending for any home lending or refinance, you will be in excellent hands!

Zach gave false information on initial quote on a refinance, said he would give $1400 credit towards fees and closing cost to keep me as a customer because I was going to refinance with another lender, I was on speaker phone during the call and another individual heard the whole conversation, but then on the next phone call Zach lied and denied saying any of it, but also denied to show the recorded phone call where it was clearly said. Then Planet Home Lending chose the absolute worst appraiser in my area, literally has a 1 star rating on Google for undervaluing properties (mine was also undervalued by $50k or so which meant I am forced to pay PMI). I requested a rebuttal and after weeks of waiting, Planet Home Lending claimed the appraiser would not change his appraisal so I called the appraiser directly and he claimed Planet Home Lender had never reached out to him for a rebuttal. I then told this information to Planet Home Lending and was told they hadn't actually filed a rebuttal, even though they told me they did and also told me it was denied. So again we went down the path of a rebuttal that ended in Planet Home Lending saying the same thing, but I never saw any real evidence of a rebuttal other than being told on the phone. This is the worst experience I have ever had and would never recommend this company or Zach. I already had a mortgage through this company but it took 6 months for a basic refinance and was lied too multiple times by this company...

Don't ever file a homeowners claim. I've been waiting over 2 weeks for a check I overnighted to be endorsed and sent back to me. Calling their claim department is a nightmare.

Planet Home Lending was our current mortgage company, but still offered us the best rate on our refinance! We only had to work with two people through our refinance, which made it nice and easy. Ken Laudante and Lorie Bauchman were both very helpful and polite, they kept us informed and guided us through the whole process! Highly Recommended!

Just wrapped up a great experience with Erik Topalian from Planet Home Lending. We were able to refinance our home mortgage at a much lower rate. Erik clearly explained all the steps and costs and was very patient, answering all of our questions. The whole experience was pleasant and painless! Not to mention that we will now be saving thousands of dollars!

Very good and easy company to work with. I've been with Planet Home Lending for many years and I've been very happy with the company. I just refinanced to lower my interest rate and the whole process was fast and easy. Christopher Stark was very helpful and explained things very well. I have absolutely no complaints about Planet Home Lending.

The absolute worst experience and worst follow up, communication or support! I was prompt to get them everything they asked for and They dropped the ball several times and had to restart the process and even run my credit again! Took 9 months to close on the refi, I had to be the one to reach out asking what was going on. Was told several times I was closing in a certain month and that never happened. I called the customer service # to try and get better support and didn’t receive acknowledgment or call back from them/a supervisor etc. they blamed it all on the pandemic but that’s no excuse for being dishonest and the poorest level of communication I have ever seen.....and repeatedly!

We have had a mortgage with planet home lending for a year, and decided to refinance for a better interest rate. Chris Stark was the Loan originator on our streamline refinance. We had a great experience all around! He was patient, and extremely knowledgable about the entire process.
