Don Berry was our salesman, and he did a fantastic job. He was the first salesman on the lot to come and speak with us. He was very straightforward and answered all of the questions, which we had a lot of being first time car owners. He didn’t pressure us into anything, did not make us feel like we had to make decisions we were not 100% certain about. Highly recommend Don and Brian in finances to help you out. They were both very easy to talk to and easily broke down everything to where even those of us who don’t know much about the car buying process, were well informed and understood everything afterwards.

I had a great experience at Pinegar. My salesman Joey was great. He was genuine and honest. Derrick in the finance department was the same. By far the best vehicle buying experience. Didn't sit around while going back and forth to finance managers like other dealerships. They did not hold my tradein hostage, I wasn't there for 8 hours. It was honestly my best buying experience.

The last vehicle I purchased was from another dealership in Springfield Missouri and my experience was less than positive. Just bought a car from Chris Bunkleman at Pinegar here in Republic. They didn't have the car at the time but had one on the way. Chris saved it for me and let me know the status as it was on the way. I found my SUV through Carfax, called and spoke to Garrett Tucker to ask questions and spoke about coming in the next day. Garrett was very straightforward with me the entire time and helped me get exactly what I wanted without being pushy and showing me things I wasn't interested in. I worked with Derek Johnson during the financial part and he was not only helpful, but made me feel extremely comfortable. We had a good time reminiscing about old video games too! 😁 I highly recommend both of these guys for your car buying experience!!** Updating this as the only issue I have had after purchasing my vehicle is that the newly replaced brakes have already worn out. I took my car to my local mechanic and was told that when they were replaced just recently at Pinegar, the calibur was not installed correctly and ground the brakes down completely. The dealership has been made aware so hopefully these things will be double checked for future customers.

We’ve used These guys several times now. We usually have to bring major repairs to them, ones that our local repair shop has tried to fix 3 or 4 times. They get you in and out fast and it’s done right the first time. Very courteous staff especially in the repair department (Don).

This is the second time I have purchased a car here. I wasn't overly pleased the first time as I was pressured a lot by the finance guy. However, this time my salesman Grant was absolutely amazing, and had little pressure from the guy in finance. Grant made the whole process stress free, no pressure. I had a terrible day looking at cars the day before and dealt with dishonest people at the Acura dealership and was very frustrated. My husband and I were in a really tight spot financially as we had just bought a car 2 months ago and then the motor in our older car went out. I told Grant exactly what I needed and what I did not want, and we walked out of there not much over an hour with the keys to a 2010 Hyundai Elantra that fit perfectly into our tight budget that will be a great car to get me to and from work for several years until we can upgrade. Donnie is always so helpful and kind! Even went a step further after my oil change, to give me a heads up that I will be needing transmission flush soon due to mileage. Always nice to have a heads up on maintenance!!

It was much less pressured sales but also knowing I would not take possession on the same day. I was looking to buy a brand new 2022 blazer and knew would have to wait for delivery. With Al's experience and time in the industry. He was able to give his best educated guess on "in transit inventory" and get me in my beautiful blazer as quickly as promised. So excited to have my new ride.

Worst experience ever @ Pinegar and I have bn there many many times. My appointment was for 0930 and I was there @ 0900. My car set in the bay for at least an hour and then it was another hour or longer before it was done. Oil change and new set of tires put on I believe took to long. The waiting room was freezing cold running @ 60°. Employee came and turned the thermostat up to a whole 63°. Couldn't wait to get into my car and crank the heat!!

My appointment was for 0930 I was here at 0900. My car set here in the bay for over an hour and it's bn over 2 hours now that I have bn here. I'm having a oil change and a new set of tires put on and it takes this long. Terrible service!!!! Steve Johnson not here today that's why it took soooo long!!

Don Berry sold us a Nissan Altima and I’d just like to say what a nice guy he’s not pushing you to buy a car like all the other salesmen in other dealerships he really wants what’s best for you we were looking at a Kia that was more expansive and he told us from personal experience he knows the Altima is a reliable car even though it was the cheaper option he still told us this and I appreciate his honesty

Went to have my oil changed & tires rotated. Service people were extremely nice & the job was completed in less than 45 minutes. The price was very reasonable compared to the other Chevrolet dealership/service department on Highway 60 a few minutes away. Will continue to use Pinegar for all my Chevy's needs.

We have been coming to this dealership since 1995. We have purchased 7 vehicles, one off the showroom floor, with great satisfaction. We find their service department extremely accommodating, for any issues or regular maintenance we may need. I highly recommend this dealership to satisfy any of your wants or needs.

They typically have great customer service and are fairly quick in the shop. My husband and I both have our regular services completed by Pinegar. However, the past year we have had small issues. Most recently, I put on the online form I wanted just an oil change but the rep that helped me as I was dropping off my vehicle said "Oil change and tire rotation?". I said, "No, just an oil change and I think that's what I put on the form." Then after paying the cashier, I see they did rotate my tires even though I put on the form I didn't want it done and told the rep, as well. I paid for it because I wasn't about to argue and just wanted to leave. Mistakes happen everywhere at times, but seems to be a lot more frequent with Pinegar the past year. It won't stop us from returning for service but we hope it improves.

Bought a 2019 Chevy traverse through Pinegar Chevrolet and had the pleasure of working with grant! He made it stress free and no pressure! After buying a new vehicle I realized that some of the electronic settings were not so user friendly. My side mirrors kept tilting down when I put the vehicle in reverse and the radio was rattling my head and chest when I turned it up. I stopped by to get it fixed and had a great experience with a service person. Not only did he fix my mirrors and adjust the sound on my radio, he made sure I knew how to get to these settings and many more in the future. He sat in the car with me adjusting the radio until it was just the way I wanted it. He was very personable and made me feel like he really cared. Truly a great show of appreciation for customers.

I really just want to say what a low stress experience this was. I hate being sold stuff, or feeling pressured, but Derek Johnson took great care of my family. We had been to a couple of lots and tried to find the right fit for us. Other places were over eager to put us in a car out of our price range. Or, their website would advertise a vehicle that was not on the lot, but they would still book a test drive just to get you to the lot. This experience was the antithesis to every negative car buying adventure I had ever been on. When I asked to verify the vehicle was on the lot, they did post haste. The helped me find the newest vehicle with the lowest miles in my price range. They secured a loan at a better rate than my personal bank was offering. And most important I never felt any pressure during the entire process. Awesome job.

After shopping all the major dealers in town (some of them were terrible to deal with) we purchased a new 2022 truck from Pinegar witch we picked up today. Our sales representative was Al Girardi. The whole experience was great and hassle free. They have a great team from sales rep to finance department to the cashiers. When ordering a new truck the process can be a long wait for your new vehicle to be shipped and arrive at the dealership but Al was always upfront and honest and kept us in the loop/updated on the shipping/location of our truck. From the moment we stepped foot on the lot Al and the team took great care of us. Best car buying experience this far…

I check online for the SUV I wanted and they had the best price so I pass the next day and Don Berry was quick on help me look at it and drive test it. Was love at first sight 😍. Once I got to the dealer he gave me the time to look over the truck and take it for a test drive, play around with all the features and once I was done I went into see him and he did the best he could to find any answers he could to the questions I had. The staff was polite and friendly to me the entire time I was there and made the experience enjoyable.

We bought our 2015 Chevrolet Trax from Pinegar on Saturday, February 5, and we love it! It is bright red! I had always wanted a red car, because red is my favorite color, and I finally got it. We were very happy with the service and treatment we got at Pinegar. Terry Davis, our salesperson, took very good care of us. Like many people, I have had bad experiences buying cars in the past, and had dreaded buying this time, but it was all positive. There was no pressure at all, and we didn't have to listen to long sales pitches that we weren't interested in. In other words, they didn't waste our time. Derek Johnson did such an amazing job with our car buying process. We were searching for a car for my husband's work commute. We had looked at one car online (that I wasn't super excited about) and when we got there, he was very honest with us about the pros and cons of the car we had already looked at, and handpicked 2 other cars based off what we had told him about our lifestyle (we have a growing family and needed space for strollers/kid stuff.) We ended up going with one of the cars that he chose (2017 Jeep Renegade) and we absolutely love it! Service department- rude and not helpful. They kept my car for a week and couldn’t figure out the issue. They send me on my way and tell me to call back if it happens again. Issues happened again and again. I called the service department, they couldn’t fit me in for 5 weeks. Then they suggested I buy a meter from an auto parts store to help them diagnose the issue. I call Mayse in Aurora, they got me in the following morning. They fixed the issue in a couple hours. I didn’t even have to buy a meter to help them diagnose the problem.

After a stressful year of driving in my family's old car, I decided to bite the bullet and buy my own car for the first time so I could use something to get to college and back. When I looked online for vehicles that fit my needs, I spotted a 2011 Nissan Versa at Pinegar and drove out with my dad to check it out. When I got there, Joey Chambers was quick to greet us and show us around the lot. He pointed us right to the Versa, and within a couple minutes I was giving it a test drive. Joey even offered to give me a ride so I could eat lunch while I waited on the repairs! I realize that customers ahead of me may have had issues that required extra time, which threw the schedule off. No loaner cars were available so I borrowed a car for the day. When I called at noon, they couldn't tell me if the car would be done and to call back at 3 or 3:30. Shouldn't they have called me???? I picked my car up on Monday evening. Tuesday I called because I was smelling antifreeze. Was told it should go away and it did. Wednesday, my car wouldn't start. Turns out I had a bad battery. Again, someone with good customer service would have checked the battery. This is the 3rd time I have had my car in for service in LESS than 2 years. Each time, customer service was lacking. I would not recommend the dealership to any of my friends.
