I have never written a review for anyone. I have very high expectations, and not many businesses meet them. Mike and his team hit the mark and continue to do so. As a veteran and first responder I understand what paying attention to detail means. Mike was never out of step with the process. Communication was constant and easily understood. The VA can be difficult at times to deal with but Mike and his time were completely instep. I have no reservations in recommending them.

Matt Smith is the absolute best at this. We bought our first home with him back in 2014 during my residency in Seattle, and we had such a good experience. He responds immediately to emails/texts. He (and his team) always deliver on their promises, and communication is so clear and easy. They are incredibly fast and responsive. Regularly they complete work on the weekends or after hours. They definitely go the extra mile. I had to finance our new home 2 years ago with a different lender because the could offer us a much lower rate, so I definitely have something to compare Fairway to. It almost wasn’t worth the low interest rate. Seriously though, I can’t recommend Matt enough.

We have loved refinancing our loan through Fairway Independent Mortgage. Katrinka and her team have been so fantastic to work with. They are great with answering questions and making us feel comfortable every step of the way. Their communications are straight forward and make it smooth and easy on our end. We can't say enough good things about our experience with David Nelson at Fairway - he was wonderful! As first-time homebuyers, we were nervous about the process of applying for a mortgage and the home-buying process, but David made everything as straightforward, organized, and positive as possible. Below average overall. Did a physician home loan with neo. Team is responsive, but communication among their team is absolutely atrocious. Our homeowner insurance agent, builder, and lawyer were working with someone on their team while the loan officer and loan processor were totally unaware (no communication amongst themselves). Created a ridiculous amounted of confusion ​and ultimately increased my cost significantly as close was delayed due to this incompetence. Neo did not cover any of the cost their poor communication created. We worked with Ross Zimmerman and Rail Cressall. These guys did NOT have the best rates or costs, but we were sold on a better customer service experience. They did not deliver. Choose wisely and ignore this sales pitch. There are much better companies for physicians home loans. ​Would choose someone else if it were done again.

I am starting a new practice 500 miles from my current location and have a lot of unknowns about my financial future; I knew getting a mortgage would not be easy. After getting the run-around (and a few bad offers) from local banks and a couple of national mortgage companies, I called Fairway's Physician Mortgage line and was pleased when Ross Zimmerman answered the phone immediately. Ross listened to my needs and offered a solution that easily beat every other offer we had and required less cash to close--with the exact loan specifications I was looking for. And to top it off, they got the whole thing done incredibly quickly and we were able to close early, on our preferred closing date. The entire process was smooth and easy and Ross and the team at Fairway communicated with me constantly. I had one contact person for each step of the loan and each person took great care to identify themselves and detail what each step would entail. The whole team worked together well and they smoothly moved the loan through each step. They kept me in the loop and were available through phone, email, and their website for any questions I had. I cannot express how grateful I am to Ross and Fairway Mortgage for helping us get the new home we wanted, on the terms we needed, and with a stress-free process. Working with Fairway mortgage on my refinance was a great choice. It was easy to communicate through the app and email. The steps were simple and well laid out. David and his team made sure to work hard on getting me the best interest rate and working to have the loan closing work with my schedule.

Jason communicated quickly and efficiently. Our mortgage was contingent on a very tight closing schedule (less than 30 days). His initial contact was more robust than any other lenders we looked at, and he assured us they could meet the timeline we required. First time home buying experience and using the physician’s loan. We worked with Josh Mettle and had a wonderful experience. He was very easy to contact, always quick to respond to emails and texts. He was very good at explaining unfamiliar terms and guiding us through the home buying process. After closing on our new home, our realtor even commented on how easy Josh was to work with. Best mortgage refinance experience ever. They are so organized, have excelled videos to help you decide rates, payments, and understand all the costs and benefits involved. The fees were amazing as they were low. Lowest I have ever seen for a refi. Josh is incredible, he and his team respond almost all hours of the day and are never annoyed at the amount of questions you may have.

When shopping around for mortgages, Katrinka was the ONLY officer who would communicate back with us quickly and her responsiveness was primarily the reason we chose the physician loan at Fairway. I also had specific time delays related to my visa paperwork and while many other mortgage companies would either not work with us or did not seem to understand anything about non-citizen physician training, Katrinka was knowledgeable about visa processes, and when she was not confident of information specifically about my case, she asked and replied to me within the same day. When it came to looking at various loan options, rates and durations, Katrinka's method of laying all numbers in front of us and going through expected costs and fees one by one was very welcome, and another example of how she stood out (by miles) compared to other companies we shopped from. This was our third mortgage company we have worked with and our second time to use a physician loan , and Fairway was by far the best we have worked with. We worked with Ross, who was fantastic. He would always be contacting me and updating me with progress. I knew my phone calls would always be immediately returned and he was knowledgeable and patient with my questions. We received a physician home loan from Fairway; most importantly, they gave us the most competitive interest rate offers for all different types of loans and were the most flexible when it came to down payment amount and cash to close requirements. As well, Drake Bloebaum was our loan rep and was simply fantastic - responded quickly always and at times would even reply to our emails at like 5:30 in the morning - someone is an early riser! The only feedback I'd have for Fairway is that the closing process is unfamiliar territory for new home buyers and a fact sheet would have been helpful to have to lay it all out before hand. I had to do a little bit of back and forth with the closing team to get a clear picture of what would happen. Otherwise, very positive experience and I would definitely recommend friends to Fairway for physician loans!
