I thought I was making the right choice by choosing to bank at a credit union, but sadly that has not been the case lately. I’ve been a customer for about 7 years, and it’s time to change banks. Today I tried to make a large purchase and my card was flagged for fraud. The call from the fraud department came several minutes later after I had left. I authorized the purchase, then went back into the store to try again. I was flagged for a second time. There was more than enough funds in my account to make the purchase. I was in the city where I live, so it’s not like I was traveling abroad. I had a similar situation earlier this month, and I could not use my debit card for the rest of the weekend. Since I am not free to spend my money, why should I bank here? Also since I’m writing this, there’s a $1 when you use your debit after a certain point. How is this different from a larger, corporate bank? Very disappointed after being a customer for so long. There is no point. They are too slow to rectify situations like this.

Male manager has huge anger issues. The teller told me she could put through a transaction and just needed him to okay it. He tried to talk down to me and then yelled at me so I told him to put the transaction through or I'd just deposit cash and he finally did. Huge waste of everyone's time.

In my opinion, one of the best banks around! They treat you like a human, unlike other banks. They also offer competitive rates for financing a car or buying house.. Check out their website for all the information you'll need to open up an account or 2.

they are becoming like any other banks. Be careful ordering check from them online. The is setup is such a way that for 100 checks you will end up paying $ 47.95. WalMart price is less than $10 with shipping.

Tons of hidden fees but credit unions always beat banks for service. The former are not as hostile. They do not treat customers like the enemy.

All-in-all pretty terrible experience banking here. Things often did not work well. I ended up closing my account on principle because of the reasons below. They closed my personal checking account without warning me after an unexpected fee for not changing my address put my balance in the negative. The feature for address change wasn't working on the website and I had kept a low balance in that account because i was only using PFCU's business checking account. They had also sent me a message requiring to send a physical letter to them in order to opt out of waiving the rights to any class action suit in the future.

If I knew what kind of bs I would currently be going through, I would never have banked here. Don’t even waste your time requesting to have any fees removed- they tell you it’s your problem and NO. (Even when they never informed you of important information- they’ll blame the post office). This bank froze my account without notice and made me take off work to run around like a maniac to get letters from my other banks (even in NY) to unfreeze my account. Meanwhile, I had no access to my money for over 24 hours. They said TOO BAD. This bank does not pride itself on customer service. Every bank should allow a one time fee removal- regardless of the case. My advice: bank elsewhere.

Well...what to say..the ATM once didn't dispensed the cash for me and if your card is not from their Credit Union, you have to deal with your bank. Its took more than a month to get my money back.

The bank itself is okay, but service is extremely slow, even if there's 2 people in line, expect to be there 15 minutes. I ran in this morning, and no one was in line, but no one acknowledged me. After 2 minutes or being ignored, I left bc I had an appointment. Unfortunately, I have to go back and that branch is the closest...
