MISLEADING ATM machines. Outside they have machines that works correctly half the time. Try to withdrawal money and then no money comes out, even though the transaction goes through “as normal” like there’s no problem. And when you confront the teller about missing money, they just rudely recommend to “file a dispute” because they claim they have no access to the ATM - even if you have a receipt on hand! The bank won’t dispute an ATM withdrawal while it’s in pending status so you have to wait until the transaction is posted. Unbelievable JOKE of a bank that NEEDS to close.

I love PFCU even though I don't reside in Philadelphia I am still a member. But this location ain't it at all ❗ I unfortunately think it's because of the area, I believe the employees may be a little burned out due to the extreme amount of outspokenness. I have witnessed 2 different situations myself and I personally would have called the cops for certain on one of those occasions! That being said I purposely bypass this location to go to the northeast because it's a totally different vibe over there.

I can no longer recommend Philadelphia Federal Credit Union for any banking services. I closed my remaining accounts today. In short, a joint account opened in 2018 was drained by dormancy fees and closed in less than two years (September 2018-June 2020). We were never called, nor did we receive any letters about the fees nor the closure. They were unable and unwilling to do anything in terms of returning those funds to us. I cannot recall if the dormancy rules were mentioned when we opened the account, but even if they were, the other aspects of this are ... questionable at best. Neighbors, beware. I do want to say that all of the customer service reps I dealt with were very nice, even when I was upset. So good on them and I hope they use their considerable skills to get better jobs!

My hate for this CU keeps going up with every issue. The latest, I applied for an auto loan, was emailed and told to call in to approve my credit being pulled. I call and tell them its fine. A week later, no update so I call and am told they never pulled the credit and cancelled the entire process. I have an ingoing list of why I need to change banks... But I'm afraid to do so and have it mess up my payments bc they take forever to update their systems.

I love Philadelphia Federal Credit Union but this location not so much but there's so many other locations I can use. They obviously don't like white people. I'm a very polite person and friendly and they were not too friendly. So much anger for no reason I don't get it.

I have been with this bank for 20 years and this branch is the worst. It's obvious they don't like white people. I don't like them as much either not because of their race because they feel they have a ticket to discriminate. Soon I will take my money out of this bank and open an account in a real bank and not a ghetto Bank

How can any review say this disobliging credit union gives good service??? After a couple years of low level suffering I'm negative reviewing them. Today's diss? I have a branch specific question and instead am being advertised at, while I rot on hold for 25 minutes to ask an overworked representative to complete a simple phone call; so successful is PFCU at obscuring direct branch phone numbers. I couldn't begin to list all my woes of below-minimally staffed customer service. I went back to the big banks last year, PNC in my case. Believe the line you see in the PFCU branch you enter is omnipresent — customers with problems are cattle. I've only kept my account for the change-counting machine near my home! Avoid.

This place will make you close your account with them. I will find another credit union to bank with. Rude and unprofessional staff.
