My boyfriend and I purchased our first home in 2019 and Corey was recommended to us by a family member. First, I should mention that Perennial/Cross Country ultimately delivered on what was originally promised. I believe this was due, in large measure, to the efforts of Daniel Shirley, who was my primary contact with the company during our refinance. From the very beginning he listened to what I was trying to accomplish and to any of my concerns during the processing of the refinance and took steps to make sure that they were addressed. For anyone considering this company for a mortgage or refinance I would highly recommend requesting Daniel as your contact. The process as a whole was a bit disjointed and could have gone a bit smoother but, as I said, the company ultimately delivered on what they had promised. The disjointed nature related to the collection of information that should have been done in a more systematic way and I as a customer should have had little involvement beyond the provision of initial information, which was a bit of an effort in and of itself. I believe a checklist of what was needed from each of those contacted would have helped things go smoother since needed information surfaced at the eleventh hour that was missing from contacts that had previously been made with my prior mortgage lender or from my insurance company, both of which had been contacted during the process but from whom information was found to be needed immediately prior to closing. While this was an aggravation, Daniel made sure that he resolved issues without my involvement and ultimately the company delivered the desired result. I should also acknowledge that the final product was error free and the closing went quite smoothly with the agent coming to our home to finalize the process........very hassle free closing.
