Peoples First is a community bank in the city of Mason since 1909. There is a reason its been there for so long. They are easy to work with and you can actually talk to someone if needed. Your not just a number like the big banks. Best of all they have all the services that the big banks have except without the fees.

The new mobile app has made life easier since I work downtown and do not get off till 7 p.m. Love the mobile deposit and being able to move my money with ease. The tellers where great at showing me how to get signed on since conversion while I was at the bank on Saturday in mason.

DO NOT ever put your money in this place. First of all, it looks like it hasn't been remodeled since the 60's. What really has me mad is that I drove 35 miles to get there, to get a high interest CD for my elderly mom, who is in a nursing home. CD interest helps pay for her nursing home expenses. This bank advertises very high CD interest rates. Anyway, I went with a valid, recent Ohio attorney prepared, POA. They would not honor it, telling me that my mom had to be there in person to open the account. She can't, she is in a nursing home! That is the reason POA's were created!!! Also, they were not friendly, and the place is a dump. Would avoid this bank like the plague.

Went in to set up a bank account and it had to be the slowest transaction of all time at bank.

Peoples First Savings was very easy to work with on our construction loan. Processed the application and granted approval quickly so construction could begin. Staff is efficient, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. The whole process went very smoothly. I would definitely recommend them.

Great local bank. Love the online banking as well as the staff they really help you understand the products they offer as well as get you set up. Also being able to have a debit card printed that day was nice. I like being able to call if I need assistance as well. Thank you for all you guys do it’s much appreciated.
