Peoples Bank & Trust S Main St, Altamont

By far the worst bank I have ever had an account at. three separate times in 6 months they closed my account and debit card with no notice. when opening a checking account they did not inform me and my husband of vital information about the account. my husband and I went to apply for their peoples cash, the loan officer terry never completed our paperwork, did not make an effort at all to met our requests, then withheld our tax information for several weeks, even upon requesting days I that would be there in person to pick up the paperwork. overall I don't even have one good thing to say about the 6months we had the account active, we were not at all satisfied.

Very good bank love the help we have got from joe he is the best business banker around also very thankful for terry for handling are new house loan and glad to see all the staff are friendly great to work with keep it up glad to have you all

The staff is very rude and act like it's such a hassle to do their job! Ridiculous

Like a small town banking branch should be, Peoples Bank has folks from Altamont, committed to Altamont. Staff that actually wants to be helpful without that fakeness that seems to be in big bank staff because it has been trained into them like robots. Very convenient location for banking while coming and going during a normal day around town.
