People's United Bank George St, Lowell

My uncle brought in a 3-gallon plastic jug full of coins, mostly non-pennies. Upon entry a female employee asked if he needed assistance and he said he wanted to exchange his coins for bills. She offered him $300 and he accepted not knowing he had at least twice that amount in coins. THAT'S UNETHICAL BANKING! She should be fired for taking advantage of an elderly person!

I've been going there for a couple of years, now. I actually go there once a month, for the extra exercise, to do my banking. Comfortable, clean, friendly. If I had more, they would get it. 01/19/2019 - still happy at People's. 05/25/2021 -- Still there.

Pina the branch manager has anger issues and started screaming at me in front of my kids because i asked for a deposit slip. I closed my account out today after 12 years of horror with peoples united

Terrible customer service. I have worked in banking many years and they for sure aren’t a bank that even meets the basic standards of customer service it’s a shame. I go here once a month to make a deposit into a landlords account and how badly I wish my landlord would switch banks. They are rude, and very slow. I actually went to the drive up today and made a deposit and this woman was short with me. And gave me back slip for competing the deposit. She said thank you . But not thank you have a good day and again now I have an attitude becuase of her attitude throughout the transaction, and she literally says WOW over the intercom. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERIVE and the faces of this bank don’t speak on behalf of their name “Peoples United bank” more like “people’s attitude bank”

I come to this bank to cash my check I have never had a bad experience here, everyone has been super nice and helpful. I'm thinking of switching to them instead of my regular bank
