People's United Bank Hazard Ave, Enfield

This bank in General is shady. I don't not recommend anyone to use people's...I've had an account since I was 16 now I'm 30. Perfect example I went negative 10 dallors. Before they applied the overdraft fee I got it out of the negative. Then their overdraft fee made my account negative again so what did the bank do gave me another overdraft fee because I went negative because of the first fee. How is this not shady? Or let's talk back when they charged me 4 overdraft fees the day I got paid trying to tell me I'm not allowed to use my money the day I got paid and still NEVER been reimbursed for it. So when your bank is taking advantage of you...who can you really turn to? I only keep this bank because I've had it so long but trust I've definitely opened Ed an account elsewhere and use that bank more..smh

I want to cash my check and deposit $50 into my account which I do every People's Bank all over the state for my job allows me to travel so I'm never cash my check at the same bank. The guy told me that because of the balance of my account I was not able to cash the check I had to deposit the whole thing it wait till tomorrow to get my money. My account balance never has the amount that I get paid in my account I I don't keep my money in the bank. I keep the bank because it allows me to cash my checks and pay my bills. No other banking center gives me an issue with that. The guy told me I wasn't allowed to do that. Every other people's bank allows it every other people's bank in the state. Even when I had a negative balance in my account I was still able to cash my check and only deposit the amount that I needed to in my account at other people's banks.

Terrible customer service. Was left waiting for 10 mins while people were in the back. When I was actually finally helped I was given attitude. Can definitely say that I will not be using this branch anymore. Hopefully this doesnt happen again at another branch or I will be switching banks entirely.

If I could give a zero I would . The people here are rude and not helpful . Don’t waste your time .

Went there on Sat the 12th @ 2:00pm to cash a cheque. Sign says "this branch in now closed for lack of help" "Visit 49 Hazard ave. 9:00-12:00" No place to cash it. Still listed online as active. Update:8-9-21 Still online as active?? IT IS CLOSED!!!!!!!!!

Called for a question about my mortgage statement. The youn girl was mad that I am calling for this matter. She referred me to call some other branch or the call center and didn't provide the info; "you can look it up online". Today is 3/17/17 to whom it may concern

Kristy is always so friendly and curtious. If we have any questions, she answers with the most detailed professionalism. She is definitely an asset to your company.
