People First - Walbert Walbert Ave, Allentown

Please note that prior to the pandemic this location was my favorite and ideal as it is closest to me. This review is aimed at the overall service from People First as a buisness which has gone down hill. This review does not reflect solely on this branch. This location is not open though it says so when you look at it on Google. The company should be updating times and branch closures consistently. Out of all the other local branches it is also the only one that has been consistently closed throughout the pandemic and is never kept up to date. I guess it's my fault for foolishly believing it would be open as the representative I spoke to assured me this location was open, despite my concern it would be closed. So imagine my shock when I spent my lunch break driving to and from the branch without being able to attended to my business. There were several other people who arrived at the same time that were all equally annoyed and disappointed, as they too took the time to travel to this location on their lunch breaks. These branches should have direct lines to call, not just extensions to the employees within. They have a general call number but it never goes to a specific branch but to a call center of some sort. The hold times are also quite long and their website/app could use a serious update. I'm tired of the misinformation and inconsistency on a regular basis, time to look elsewhere.

The Walbert Ave branch is the BEST! Everyone here consistently goes above and beyond to provide the best member service. There are many regulars who have come to this location for years specifically because of the amazing service that they receive at this branch. Every single employee is kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. Kristy goes out of her way as branch manager to help members in a way that is simply amazing. Kathy is an incredible product specialist. You couldn't ask for better tellers than Lora, Becka, and Diana. There are so many good things to say about the Walbert Ave branch!

The staff and management are always caring and professional and very knowledgeable. Greeted with a warm and friendly response. The facility is always clean and well kept with an extra hometown feeling.I drive xtra miles just to do business at this branch because of these factors! 5 stars!!

The staff at Walbert Avenue are super friendly, fast and reliable! Kristy Berger is outstanding! With her professionalism, friendliness, fast diligent service and Her management skills she is by far the best ! Highly recommend for amazing customer service!

I am so happy Walbert Avenue has reopened. This branch is like a hometown office. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. No question is too much to ask. Hats off to Kristy and her crew..Diane, Lora, Rebecca, Kathy, and everybody else. You reopening is an early Christmas present!!!

People first is growing and this is their newest location. Needed to get to my check cashed and they were right down the road from my physical therapy. Cashiers were very pleasant.

Walbert ave. branch will always be my go to location for ALL my banking needs. Kristy Berger and her staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. There are branches closer to me but I'll drive the extra 15 or 20 minutes every time. Having professionals treat you as family, share a smile as well as provide outstanding service (especially in today's world ) is well worth the trip. Mike K.
