PenFed Credit Union Franklin Ave, Scranton

Place is a joke all the locations and over the phone customer service. Never can get a hold of their fraud department. I work odd hours and they close at 459. Save your time and money and do not open accounts here. Held on to deposit for 3 months

Best credit union / bank I have ever dealt with. I have in the past dealt with small banks and large nation wide banks. PenFed is by far been the best. Customer service with these people has only been a pleasure. Other banks should look to them as a guide. My .02

I was having trouble deciding on which truck to buy and changed my mind several time within the loan application procedure ... the associate that was working with me was very patient and professional. She made the necessary changes without complaint and I received a great rate.

One of the lowest interest rates out there with amazing customer service and a simple process to acquiring an auto loan. Highly recommend if you still prefer talk to a real person and not someone sitting in a call center.

Amazing customer service. It's worth banking there for that reason alone. Now throw in the super low interest auto loan rates. Why go anywhere else.

I'm relatively new as a PenFed customer but I was a credit union member many years ago when I worked for an airline. I had such a positive experience at that time, when the opportunity presented itself to join PenFed, I took advantage of it and very happy I did. I had a high interest auto loan with another lender but was able to find a more reasonable rate with PenFed.

Cant call my local branch and the 800 number is clueless. I think my branch maybe closing I just want my money before they go.

Needed a personal loan but had some questions before applying. Customer service was excellent and helpful. Also got an answer about the loan in less than an hour. Have banked w penfed for several years and will always use them for loans and other banking needs.

I applied for a used car loan through PenFed on line and an agent promptly called me to gather any more needed info for the loan. After all required information was obtained my loan was approved quickly and within 24 hours the check was on its way. I was very pleased with the whole loan process and will definitely consider using PenFed for any future purchases
