PAYOMATIC Utica Ave, Brooklyn

Absolutely the most deplorable customer service at this place. Would give zero stars if at all possible. Today, Friday, May 15th, 2020: I called ahead of time in the afternoon and spoke with a representative who informed me the location closed at 9:00PM sharp. She wholeheartedly ASSURED ME that as long as I arrived before 8:45PM, I would be let in to do my business. (Not sure as to why the posted hours say 9:00PM if the doors are locked at 8:45PM, but fine, whatever...) I proceeded to take a taxi from my job OVER A MILE AWAY in order to ensure a timely arrival. Got to the front door of the establishment at 8:40PM ON THE DOT. Imagine my shock when I find the doors LOCKED and myself unable to enter and complete my business! I knocked on the door, both of the employees saw me from their desks and made hand motions shooing me away. Incredibly rude, especially given the circumstances! I called the store phone and let them know I was the person outside, as well as the person who had called in earlier in fear of this exact situation. The young lady who answered made every excuse under the sun to not assist me. When I reminded her what I had been told be employee earlier in the day, I was met with “That may have been someone from the morning shift who doesn’t know what they are talking about.” I couldn’t believe my ears. So all in all, I wasted an hour’s salary, two taxi fares and my own time...all to get absolutely nothing accomplished and put myself in a tight spot businesswise. Still shellshocked by the amount of disrespect and lack of compassion towards longtime customers as we speak. Especially given the current COVID-19 situation, you’d think businesses which are open would be pushing their employees to provide better customer service knowing that many of their customers will likely be in stressful situations. Needless to say, I’ll be permanently taking my business elsewhere after this debacle. I’d advise anyone else who values being treated with any sort of compassion and respect to do the same. However, if you’re the type who likes to be given the runaround, blatantly lied to and given excuses which wouldn’t even fool a grade-school child...then this is the spot for you!

The ladies working overnight are very rude. TERRIBLE customer service!! No manners.

Good people working here. They helped me to send money overseas. They used to be 24/7. I hope pay o matic 1532 Utica Ave soon come back 24/7 again.

Good service, but only problem is long line especially on Sunday and only one person works.
