It's ok but it just seem to not be enough workers out of all the years I been there even with very few people in store..but I guess other than but overall of my products seem to be in great condition when I do decide to purchase I never have issues with the products that I purchase
I'm glad that you were happy with your purchases. Unfortunately, there's no way for us to predict what customer flow is going to be like. We could hire extra people, but that incurs extra expense that we would have to pass on in our prices. Or when when we had less customer presence we would have to let people go or cut hours. We try to follow the historical trends of our business so that we can properly accommodate everyodelete accommodate every one… customers read customers and employees. I'm sure that you have experienced this at other institutions such as your bank or grocery stores.

I seem to always get the woman who is always miserable. Once,she saw me walking in the store she rolled her eyes and went in the back room so she didn't have to take care of me. I will not be going here anymore. I'll go into Winston-Salem if I ever need to pawn or buy something.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I showed your picture and information to my staff. We checked out your account. But no one knows exactly who you are or why you might feel like that. Edited, last time was 3 stars: Giving the benefit of the doubt the last time I was there on a jigsaw I tried to get rid of, which was kind of my own stupidity for trying to sell. Usually nice to talk to. Just remember, they don't take every single thing that comes in. Might go back soon if they have a good deal that I can afford. Thanks

This is by far the BEST pawn shop I have ever been to! I have also visited their sister store, Pawn Way in High Point, NC, and I must say, the service did not compare to the excellent customer service I receive at Pawn Way of Lexington! The brokers in High Point did not seem to care about my needs and seemed as if I was bothering them when I had questions. Also, the store didn't have near the variety the Lexington store has! Every time I walk in to the Lexington store looking for a specific item or needing to pawn an item, I walk out satisfied. My favorite pawn broker is Tammy P. She knows exactly what kind of things I like so as soon as I walk into the store, she can direct me straight to thing I WANT to look at rather than trying to sell me things I do not need nor want. I recommend this pawn shop to anyone who is looking for a fast, reliable and personable experience. Keep it up, Pawn Way! :)

Wanted to look at TV they couldn't get it to show me a picture and told me that if I bought it and it wouldn't hook up to cable I would not get my money back. It had no remote and couldn't even prove the TV even worked but would sell me a universal remote for it ? Have bought many things from there but don't think I'll be going back again. Also it wouldn't Hook up to either HDMI.
I am very sorry about your negative experience. However, I believe that you are being a bit unfair in your presentation of the situation. You looked at 1 of our pre owned TV's that was already on sale. One of the reasons that we test our merchandise before we will let it leave the store is to ensure that our customers get the best value for their purchase dollar. When it was observed that the HDMI ports did not work the audio video and coax connections were tested and did work. Unless there was a problem with your cable the TV would have worked with your cable. As for the remote, the TV was priced as an item that did not have a remote. If we'd had the original remote the price would have been approximately $20 higher. We offered this lower price to our customers because they are most often able to use their cable or Satellite remote to control the TV which allows for a lower price on the TV. Unfortunately I note that you did not mention that the manager marked the TV down by approximately half to try to accommodate you. I am sorry that you were unhappy with your experience, perhaps you will be able to find a tv that fits your particular purchase needs elsewhere.

Recently was on the market for a cheap tv for my room, and went to pawn way #5. Got a tv for 36 dollars during the tax sales. Expected what I was paying for but got so much more. Tv has amazing quality, no scratches on the screen, every plug and connection works, and it was clean when I got it. Awesome!

I love going to this pawn shop. I don’t aways buy cash some times I put on layaway. I aways find good deals! The staff is aways friendly some times it’s really busy but I understand. The manager she is aways helpful with any questions I ask. Will aways go back to shop!!

I used to go here a lot. After what I went through today and the rudeness of the employees, I bet I never go again. I've never seen so much inconsistency in one company in my life. I don't understand how something can be okay one time and not okay the next. Maybe the employees should know that if a regular customer (at any business) should not be treated rudely when they say they haven't had any problems with something being pawned a certain way in the past. The women should have got the manager and brought him over to talk to me when I said I pawned my item the way it was in the past and it was okay and the manager could have made a real judgement call on what to do or explained if policy changed since the last time I was in. Those women were so rude for long time employees. Maybe they don't like their jobs anymore and need to find new jobs. So sad you had to lose at least 2 customers over rude employees and bad decision making skills . Now I have to look for a shop in Winston Salem. This issue was resolved by the owner immediately. Carolyn took care of everything.
I do apologize for your experience. I had already been contacted by the manager for that location as another employee observed The Exchange. Unfortunately comma you had already left by the time the manager came out front. Wild employee was correct on the strict interpretation of our policy regarding the condition of items she was not authorized to make that judgement call given that you had been in the store before. She has been really reprimanded. The manager, Caroline, would be pleased to help you out in any way possible. I would like to address a comment that you made about changing policies. Unfortunately this is a used good business and policies will change rapidly. Sometimes these policies will be to the detriment of a customer... But we tried to minimize these when possible. And sometimes these changes are to the benefit of our customers... For example we have increased loans and purchase values for many game systems and our price that we paid for gold has increased 8% in the last 90 days. It is just the nature of the beast when dealing with used goods and does not set well with some customers. I apologize for that, although there is not much that we can do about it. Used items, by their nature lose value or can be damaged when not in our possession. We tried to adjust so as to accommodate all of our customers. If you choose not to do business with us, we will sorely miss you.
