Pawn USA 2nd St, Bemidji

My last visit was very unpleasant. One of the staff wasn't very knowledgeable on laptops or their worth so I tried to help this worker out on finding the true value of the item I brought in. Another worker out of no where starts treating me with hostility and tells me to leave and accused me of insulting their fellow employee. In no way shape or form was I being rude or insulting anybody. If anything I was helping that worker. I havent been to a pawn shop or any business for that matter and have been treated so poorly and with such hostility. With all that being said they lost my business that day and any future business. Ideal across town knew what I had and gave me what I was asking for without hesitation and will receive more of my business. It's a shame I used to like Pawn USA but after this experience I do not recommend this place and wish I could give negative stars. Never again.

I called ahead and asked about an item and was rudely told that prices are not talked about over the phone. I apologized and stated I wasn't aware of that policy and that I must come down to the store personally. so I asked how late they were open to understand if I had time to come down and see the selection...well, still in a rude manner I was told they closed at 5 pm...clearly not true as stated on their front door..website...and an obvious fact obtained by working there....knowing the actual closing time I assumed he wanted me to believe I didn't have time and wanted to deter me from coming into the store, so went to the store to take a look at the selection and stood there for 8 minutes as 2 of 3 people on the floor stared at their computer screens. I wasn't approached by anybody, nobody was concerned if I could be helped...what I was looking at was obviously behind the counter...and I had intent on making a purchase...but I grew very impatient overhearing the only person actually working, arguing, defending a price that was obviously marked up from actual value with a potential customer, who claimed that he was promised something with a purchase and now had to pay an additional $100, 8 minutes was enough for me....overall very irritating and unpleasant visit

Pretty disappointing that despite local and state mandates, employees were not wearing masks and joking about how pointless they were because “you live or die, that’s the way it is.” Will not be returning to this overpriced safety hazard again.

Well worn guns sell around $50-$100 over new msrp. Staff seemed uninterested in their jobs.

I called and asked if they had any acoustic guitars because of my sons birthday coming up. He said he had a few. We came to check them out and there were a few options. My son found one that he liked and they worked with us on the already good price for an acoustic fender. My son was/is happy, so I'm happy. Everything in the store was good quality and priced for the customer. Would definitely go in again for something.

A very high quality pawn shop. They're products are all good quality, no broken bits of junk out for easy cash. Their DVD collection is really nice and as organised and you can get it in a pawn shop. I do recommend checking the DVD's before you buy them, but that's just a personal preference from me. Over all I recommend stopping in if you're curious. Who knows you may find a hidden treasure.

Theses guys are a joke!! Using price data from a new current model to price an old obsolete model. 😂 It put them about 175% over used resale value! Not interested in selling stuff apparently. Business 101. Know your product. Keep inventory moving, especially when money walks in the door!

Nice selection of things once and awhile they have pretty nice guitars and amps come across a few gems over there in the past few years
