This place is so rad. They always have really cool stuff and the owners are really wonderful too. I go in every week just to see what kind of items they have acquired and I always have a great experience. Their prices are also very good and everything in there is high quality. If you are interested in checking out Paen Shops, this is by far the best one.

I would give less than one star if I could. I have never been to a pawn shop in my life. I've never needed a pawn loan and I've never stolen anything and exchanged it at a pawn for money. I went in today to pawn the ring of a failed engagement. I was very upfront and told them I'd never been to a pawn shop and that this was mostly a symbolic gesture on my part to move on. Huge mistake. They tried to take advantage of my honesty and inexperience. They offered me $5 for the (very expensive) ring. I laughed because I assumed they were joking with me. The guy tells me he's not joking. The most he'll give me is $7. He proceeds to cover it by saying that the ring would be impossible to sell because it was custom made and custom sized. He said, " How would I ever get anyone to want a custom size on a ring?" Wrong. That ring is a standard size men's 12 and was not custom made: I literally bought it same day from a jeweler. And have the paperwork that shows it. I wasn't expecting $500 for it, but $5? And they tried to swift talk me out of what I knew for fact of the ring? They're crooks and thought they could take advantage of a woman they thought was stupid.

You never know what your going to find in there and the guys are quite helpful.

This is the only pawn shop in salt lake worth going to. The will work with you and they are happy to help you out. They worked with me for over 2 years and they were always willing to work out arrangements on payments so I didn't lose my item. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Great customer service. Been dealing with pawn shops for a month in the SLC and all are pretty lame. Sean gave me options and was super nice
