    I recently purchased a house (coming up on 2 years) and went to a local agent for coverage. They chose the company, the coverage etc as it is not my area of expertise. Shortly after I received an email from my agent with a list of repairs that needed to be fixed. I even had to make repairs on the house, before I even owned it otherwise they would not write a policy. Really? I replied that I was aware of all of that, it was all disclosed on my home inspection and I will tend to them when time and money provides. I paid 159,000$ for the house, it was a handyman special, a fixer upper, IT NEEDED WORK. About a month before my policy expired and was up for renewal I again received the same email about the repairs that needed to be tended to or face possible cancellation. I again replied with my same email and eventually my policy was canceled. I came to your office, explaining that I needed insurance and told my story and within 24 hours Janice George called me and said I have a policy for you. I received no communication no contact from the other agent, I eventually realized that the emails came from the insurance “company” and not the agent. Well HELLO, that’s the whole reason I went to a local agent so that they would, could, should work for me, but that didn’t happen. I actually stopped into the office of this previous agent to question the email and one of the young ladies in the reception area looked at the other and said oh that must’ve been xxxx I immediately thought, must be family. YUP! So from this point on I will no longer do business with that other agent nor the company that canceled my policy. Thank you for your professionalism, Richard Lastowski

    My husband and I bought our home last year. I opened up my own home daycare business. They billed me a daycare liability insurance bill for $823 on September 20th!!!! That was due September 29th!!! (What?!....that's impossible) anyway I talked to Cathy telling her we needed a scheduled payment plan because we could not afford this payment. I also found out that I could get daycare liability insurance somewhere else for a lot cheaper. When I told her this she was very unprofessional on the phone and we got off. She immediately called my husband and questioned him if he knew I was about to do this which was NOT ok. My husband and I are a team and we make decisions together....anyway she threatened him that if he didn't come in and sign some papers and pay that bill she would kick us off our home owners insurance all together....go for it lady! Not someone I want to do business with Anyway. We now go through Ahmersr Insurance and my daycare insurance is $550 for the year and our auto and home inthanxe we have saved 200$ that's a total of $500 a year saved for us. Thankful we found such a great and professional company to work with.
