Paako Ridge Golf Club Club House Dr, Sandia Park

Epic. I had an amazing round at Paako Ridge. Playing as a single. The starter let me jump out in front of some VIP Members, who were late for the first tee time of the day, btw. So I was first out on the course! Got 18 knocked out in just under 3 hours, without even rushing. Course was in great shape. I am so glad I made the trip from Albuquerque to get up in the mountains and play this track. The terrain and native vegetation is way more interesting up at Paako Ridge. Big elevated tee boxes. Lots of wind. Beautiful surroundings. Challenging course with some big 200+ yard par 3s. If you’re used to playing at sea level, those 230 yard par 3s are more like 190. The staff was friendly. The facilities were very nice and the food was incredible. Shout out to the grounds team for doing the work, it shows!

Fantastic course! Pricey but worth giving yourself a treat to a round now an then. Beautiful views, and a great restaurant. Chris at the restaurant bar was very friendly!

Awesome course with incredible scenery. The best that I have played in NM for sure. The original #4 has an incredible green complex that is about 80 yards long! Numerous tee shots have elevation changes of 40-50 feet. The course is a dramatic, immaculate challenge. While I first visited Paako Ridge in 2014 and the rates were very reasonable ($110/round), new ownership raised the rates slightly. Hopefully, the increased revenue finds its way back into the course to make it even better. Overall: The course is Number 1 in New Mexico for a reason. This is a must play if you have the opportunity.

Paako Ridge Golf Course is AMAZING. My husband and I got married there in July, 2016. We love playing the course, and had an absolute dream wedding there. I would highly recommend the course to play or as an event venue! The restaurant is also amazing. I go out of my way to get Jamie's breakfast burritos in the morning because they are THAT good. The staff makes you feel like family, and they all are very professional.

Great golf course with some spectacular views. Update: May 2018 Under new management...the sand in the bunkers were not raked... increase in price warrants raked bunkers. Green chile cheese burgers are not as good as they were in the past.

We live on the other side of the mountain in Albuquerque. I went here for a brunch last week. What a beautiful place. The food was great, the staff, servers and bartender were so talented at making specialized drinks. They even personally came out to see how I liked it. Planning to make it a weekly brunch tradition!

I loved this golf course several years ago. Its way too expensive now. Do the new owners not understand the frugality of the area? Raising prices is one thing but pricing out a large segment is another. I can play for 225 in Hawaii.

Loved the course and pace of play. Naturally fast paced player so it was nice.

The website touts a farm to table cuisine at the restaurant, but it is pretty plain and basic with nothing outstanding. Fortunately, they do not price gouge and the food was simply okay. The scenery was why we stopped, which is gorgeous. We would recommend sightseeing, golf, or visiting, but eat in Albuquerque or Santa Fe.

My wife and I played on Father's day. It was the only course not busy in Albuquerque and we've been wanting to play this course again. We played it several years ago. The staff was informative and set us up with the course rules. Very nice people at the clubhouse. Played 10 thru 18, then 19 thru 27. There is a reason that this course is number 1 in NM. ITS TOUGH!! It's very much like a links course. No level ground to take a shot from. Danger around every corner. You have to play accurate. The course it set up beautifully. After playing a round there, you really feel it! We had dinner there and the food was fantastic. The bartender and the waitress were great. If you want to really enjoy a day of golf, play PaaKo. Can't wait to play there again! To everyone at PaaKo, Thank you for a memorable Father's Day.

Unfortunately, Paako Ridge is a sell out to a big corporation from NY. The cost of the course use to be reasonable at $150 a round. Now its over $200? Believe me when I say there’s other courses in NM for half the cost that are equally as challenging and beautiful. Black Mesa north of Santa Fe in $81 a round and just as good as Paako. Sad to see them doing this to local customers.

Rated a top 100 course and I can see why. Great layout and well conditioned for the time of year as well. Beautiful views all over the course and most of the time you feel like it's just golf and you're alone up in the mountains.

I can’t find the appropriate words on how to describe Paako Ridge Golf Club and still do it enough justice. The golf course is fantastic, and the view is divine. My friends and I have come to the restaurant to have drinks or to enjoy a meal, and the food and service is fantastic! And the view, oh my goodness, the view itself is enough to want to come back! Can’t say enough good about this place, come and see for yourself!

Expensive but worth it. Great course layout. The greens are multi-tiered and fast. Only two of the three nines are currently open. Great bar and grill too. Enjoy the elevation changes and panoramic views.

I have been to this golf course on three different occasions. The first two occasions were great. The customer service was wonderful and we were personally greeted by the manager. However, on our 3rd visit it was completely different. I didn’t see the manager walking around and by the way everything was different I could tell they were not under the same management. We were not greeted as we were before. We were not approached at the golf range to get our drinks as we were before. To order our drinks the customer service was bare minimum. After our golf game we had dinner. The dinner was not great. They served the catch of the day without skinning the fish, or without removing the head or tail. The food lacked flavor and was simply bland. What is frustrating is how New Mexicans have to pay a higher rate and out of staters have a lower rate. I have been to many golf resorts that were expensive and it was worth it. Paying $250 for golf was not worth it. Paying near to $500 for the dinner was not at all worth it. I really hope the previous manager comes back because without him it is just not worth it, which is sad. Paying near to $1500-$2000 for this experience was outrageous.

Incredible course! Views are spectacular, challenging course but so well maintained. Rocky was awesome in the grill, made sure we had everything we needed for lunch before our tee time. Sarah was awesome making sure we had all the info we wanted and needed about memberships, apparel and just making sure our visit was beyond the greatest thing! Service is OUTSTANDING! Cart boys and girls are fantastic! Will in the clubhouse was a great dude and was very knowledgeable. There is ZERO room for improvement, this statement is so hard to come out of my mouth, but it did! Congrats Paako Ridge Golf Club!! 50 STARS!!

Food is ok. Homemade ice cream had no cream and no taste. I was told by the server that the orange shake tasted like an orange pushup...total lie. It was tasteless ice milk with a few candied orange twists. I should mention the 90 minute rule. We got kicked off our table after 90 minutes, even though we were a party of 8 and just ordered dessert. And the place was only 1/4 full. Also, they got rid of the umbrellas so be prepared to roast while dining. I won't go back to eat. I will go for cocktails in the outdoor couch area.
