Origin Bank W Gray St, Houston

Horrid bank. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I had a signature line of credit with Whitney bank that was transferred to Origin several years ago. I use the line of credit about once a year and pay it off. I go into the bank yesterday and they tell me that the line of credit was closed by MISTAKE. I ask, "who in their right mind would close a signature line of credit?". I think, no problem, just reopen the line. They tell me they cannot unless I reapply for the line of credit and that process will take some time. Ridiculous. If a bank errs they should fix that error. Not a big deal, I will just take my banking business elsewhere - there are plenty of better, local banks.

The manager, Joann Lofton, was an absolute delight! Her professionalism, wisdom, and experience were readily apparent and her questions revealed the mind of one with great introspection, insight and attention to detail. She made us feel like we were the most valuable asset in her bank.
