Oregon State Credit Union N Coast Hwy, Newport

I have been banking with Newport Oregon C U for a few years. I am very pleased with the service I have received. My banking needs are simple, but the service I receive makes me feel I am a BIG dollar costumer. Covid has been hard on all businesses and customer service. Nevertheless, OSCU has offered the best services and met all my needs.

The window drive up is super slow even to greet you, customer service sucks, they rarely have slips for you to deposit or transfer or withdraw money available at drive up if you want one you have to ask for one. Used to be a great Bank we've been with them for years but ever since it change and employees definitely has changed my opinion of the Credit Union.

Switched from TLC to OSCU. Haven't looked back. No monthly minimum balance, friendly staff, and after-hours HUMAN BEING I was able to talk to when I lost my debit card. Would rate higher if I could. As a person that works customer service, I have a fairly high standard. Standard exceeded.

Sure, the bank is nice and the people there, but online and through their call center is awful. I've truly had the worst experience with this.

Had to set a business acount up quick and set it up here, wish I would of went somewhere else, always a long wait, tiny parking lot, they hit me with all kinds of transaction fees when I order from vendors and part of the business world is to notarize documents and ALL my other banks/ credit unions did this free when I had an account there, this place charged me double what 3rd party notaries charge. Update: so my review policy is if a business responds kindly I give them another star for customer service but when I went in they pulled me aside, apologized and said they are trying to fix things which goes above my expectations and shows they care. Update: I've had this credit union for over a year and even tho a few staff members are nice I have had a terrible experience and will be shutting my account down and moving it to a financial institution where I'm appreciated; I've ran over 100k thru there last year and still not valued when applying for loans

Most banks have hidden fees, this place is above and beyond. Absolute crooks they charge 3 times what any other bank does for statements. They were deliberately misleading about the fees for using debit cards out of state. Do not bank here.

Great place to do banking, and it's nice that they have branches all over the area. The tellers are very friendly and helpful.

Went through the drive this week, the heavy grey haired teller was rude and incompetent.
