Friendly and incredibly helpful staff! I had to create a membership and transfer financing from the dealer I bought my car from, and within 2 hours I had everything I needed and on my way. Looking forward to banking with OCCU, definitely won me over. Shoutout to Ethan and Natasha for helping me too! :)

Friendly service is what we prefer and the main reason why we chose this institution with previous 5 star rating, boy, was I wrong. This is totally unacceptable! Just moved to this area, stopped to open a new account here, as I've always been banking with friendly neighborhood credit union than big name banks. Went in to this office on Irvine Blvd, no one at the counter greeting us but a young girl was in the first office with customer. Quietly sat outside of her cubicle for our turn, tried to make an eye contact with the girl, but she didn't even give us a quick look. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the girl came out took another guy to her office who came in at least 5 minutes behind us. We protested, but all she said was "someone else will help you in 5 minutes". Why not her? Shouldn't it be "first come first serve"? During our wait, she was in and out of her cubicle a couple of times, 100% certain she saw us arriving first and sat right outside of her cubicle waiting. I'm taking my business to some place else, we're not rich only with $200,000 deposit, but remember, bunch of small accounts make big deposit.

Can’t believe the service. So when does any financial institution refuse to do a cash advance. I believe she just racially profiled me. I’ve always done cash advances at the Lake Forest location and at rvine too many times. Feel disrespected. Heavy set woman here was alone asked “Can I get your member number” I said I am not a member. For what reason she thought I was doing fraud or something. I will tell my son to close his account at OCCU. Not happy at all. I just took my business to Chase next door and they did not question me at all. I had a valid DL too. What a shame!

Nice little branch office with friendly helpful people and a pleasant environment.

The best banking experience for me for the last two years and their Customer service is always stellar. They had one of the better CD rates so I had been making 6 months certificates there for years and last year 2020 the Rep suggested and hooked me up with a financial advisor to invest in the stock market instead of just keep putting large amount in the cd. I was really ignorant about the stocks so I ended up not going for it but now I realized that his suggestion was the best option for me. Still kicking my self for not following his advice. I greatly appreciate their honesty and the awesome customer service. They have great products, friendly service and they truly look out for your best interest, very rare to find these days!

They will not let customers take out cash. Looks like they are out of cash. Appointment only. This is very concerning. Looks like they have no assets to pay customers in cash. Maybe they gave out to many loans? They say morning is a time anyone can visit without an appoint but I have visted several times and they say we are temporarily closed. I could only get 300 from the ATM machine. Your service is very bad. I want MY money in cash. I will visit tomorrow with my attorney. Then you listen to me I am getting my cash its my money or I report you to the Financial government watchdog.

We are glad we switched from corrupt Wells Fargo. So far so good.
