Option One engaged with my company (lenderd) to potentially build a website for their mortgage business. After the initial demon of features and examples of websites we've built for other customers, they proceeded to have no further contact with us and hire a 3rd party provider to identically copy one of our provided designs we custom built for one of our clients. Once we learned of this Option One was promptly notified to take the site down to which we received no response. We then had our attorney notify them of the copyright violations. Again, no response but they did proceed to take the site down by the deadline provided in the notice so we assumed all was well but we were wrong. About a week or 2 later they put the site back up with very minor alterations prompting yet another notice from our attorney about taking the site down again as the changes made had little to no effect to the overall look. Yet again, no response and the site continues to be live. We are sharing this experience so you know the company and kind of people you are doing business with and will proceed to share this experience any/everywhere on the web so potential consumers can be well-informed prior to any engagement of business with Option One. I recently worked with Albert on a very complicated loan with several transactions that needed to be combined into one. He was always very patient and more than willing to go the distance in order to help me understand the process and simply get things done. He doesn't simply work the normal 9-5 hour, but seems to be willing to work anytime I call.
