Very slow to report to the credit bureau I paid the loan off completely back in June 11 and it is now July 20 And still shows a balance that’s almost 3 months old now

Accounts coming from this company show up on my husbands credit report even though we have never opened an account w this company. The company does not verify information and accounts are created and tacked onto other people w similar information. Because Oportun does not require the use of a SS number fraud accounts are created over and over and tacked onto those with valid SS numbers. This business needs to stop giving loans out to identify theft consumers.

I had went to Oportun to see if I was eligible for a loan. Got assistance from Fernanda who made everything easy and in 45 min was approved instantly. Highly suggest anyone who is looking for fast service! Thank you .
