I found OnTo Mortgage after reading these reviews and a recommendation on reddit - everything you've read here is true. My fiance and I were first time homebuyers that worked with Spencer Smith, David Hanrahan, and Maria Atsiknoudas from mortgage planning through closing. Spencer talked us through our goals and what we were looking for as far as a mortgage is concerned. He ran models based on different mortgage products to help us understand exactly what our monthly payments would be. He was extremely patient in answering all of our questions and checking in via Zoom to walk through all of our documents. Spencer was never pushy and helped us lock in a fantastic rate for our home purchase. David helped get our underwriting squared away, and didn't miss a beat from where we left off with Spencer. David was so helpful in being clear about the documents we needed to provide, and was responsive as soon as anything came up or changed. David was able to get us cleared-to-close over a week early(!), which made the closing so much easier. Maria worked directly with our attorney to get everything squared away with our closing. She was extremely responsive and was always helpful in pointing us to the right person to talk to or explaining exactly where we were in the process. Maria helped take all the stress of closing away, which was so appreciated. I don't know where OnTo finds their employees, but they have a team of rockstars. I cannot recommend them enough, and if you're in the market for a new home (or are even interested in refinancing), you can't find a better broker in the business. Period.

These guys are rock stars! My wife and I were in a situation in which we had to change lenders after getting an offer accepted. We worked with Ed Lombardi and his team really saved the day for us! They secured the mortgage for us at a great rate, they were always there to answer our questions and they made the process so smooth from beginning to end. As we developed issues with owner not wanting to leave and the closing kept getting pushed out , you guys we ‘ re very understanding and help us along the way in keeping our heads from exploding. I can’t begin to list the qualities that were exceptional but to start with the communication was some of the best I’ve ever experienced: kind, professional, fast, helpful and detailed. The portal made providing documentation a breeze. The mortgage rate quoted was the most competitive, give them a go and you’ll find yourself in good hands.

We had an amazing experience with OnToMortgage!! Do you know of any other Mortgage Lender who is available via text truly any time of the day? They not only helped us determine the amount of home we could truly afford but they locked us in at an UNBELIEVABLE rate. They went the extra mile to find all the different mortgages options available and after re-confirming a few things were able to find us the perfect loan at an even better rate. They have a very helpful app you can prepare your own offer letters, you can add all housing information in and determine mortgage payments its truly awesome. Another great thing they provide you with are these helpful videos during each step of the process so you know exactly what is coming and what to expect. They also have you complete a first time home buying course which I found to be extremely informative and helpful. Truly grateful for OnToMortgage!!
