After reading the positive reviews my husband and I reached out to Grant at OnShore Mortgage to help us with a cash out refinance of the family owned property. Little did we all know what a journey we were about to embark on. We hit every road block and issue, from almost closing to hold to a insane rush to expedite due to lien/ discharges and deadlines.No one could possibly imagine the craziness of what went on and all the people involved. This whole process took 6 months. Grant was AWESOME. From the beginning he was knowledgeable, efficient, responsive to calls/texts/emails at anytime, friendly, diligent and worked extremely hard to get us to the finish line. Grant stuck by us and did not give up or get frustrated. Grant helped work with the lawyers on our behalf for documents without hesitation. We HIGHLY recommend Grant to anyone looking for a hard working, quality, professional, respectful and efficient mortgage company. I am going to start out by saying that Grant Menard is the best kept secret in the Mortgage industry. I am going to explain what I mean. I searched for about 6 months and spent countless hours researching every possible avenue, from online mortgage lenders such as the Amerisave of the world, New American Funding, local brokers, recommendations from my realtor to countless friends recommending "there guy" Absolutely garbage, as they just care about your 3-digit Fico score and call it day. I became very frustrated with this process and was losing hope. My realtor recommended Grant and I wasn't feeling it. I put it off and she kept pushing me his way. I said, ok but he is going to look at my average credit and call it a day. Boy was I wrong! Talking with Grant it felt like everyone else is playing checkers and Grant's playing chess. The guys an absolute genuis, not only did he get me an absurd interest rate, based on my credit score, but the man also closed in 13 days! I can say flat out, without Grant, I am not in my house period. How the man is not the top Mortgage Broker in the area, is beyond me. As a person, I don't think I have met a nicer human being in my life, I mean the guys an Eagle Scout, he coaches his daughter's Soccer team and has the moral compass of a saint. I will always be forever grateful for what Grant did for my family, I consider him more than my Mortgage Broker, I consider Grant a friend. Whoever is reading this review, please realize I do not write these things and I only am writing this review because I truly believe in everything, I am saying with a 100 percent certainty. Grant was able to get our refinance done in as little as 3 weeks from start to finish. He answered all our questions very promptly and was very easy to work with. To date, this has been the easiest refinance process. Fill out application online, upload docs to secure server, E-sign all docs and go to closing. Its that simple! I would highly recommend Grant.
