If you apply for a loan which I don't recommend, don't bother purchasing the insurance on your loan because it doesn't cover you like it states. For example, if you were to contract Covid 19 and have to miss work and ask that your loan be covered for a month you'd be expected to have a doctor's note even though you have the documents proving you tested positive. Going to the doctor would cost more than your payment in most instances and be redundant anyway considering there's no cure for the virus. I'll NEVER deal with this company again.

I had an unfortunate series of events happen all at once, which decimated my savings. I needed a small amount to get through the holidays and the year end crunch. I was new to this type of loan service and when calling around, many were rude or not providing details. When I first spoke with the team at One Main Financial, they treated me like a human, made an appointment for me to come in, provided options for me to submit the small bit of required paperwork online. When I arrived for my first appointment, which was in person for roughly an hour, I was greeted with excellent customer service and realistic terms. The loan funded to my account the next day. Highly recommend working with these ladies and this professional service.

It was good to have the help available but repayment is horrible. I have paid on this for over 10 months and still not below what I borrowed, to me it's a money racket and I wish I had never done it.

Great staff and fast service, but ouch! Those interest rates will get you.
