Spoke with lady over phone, said I was approved for a loan and setup a time to do the interview. She requested my vehicle information and called me later after getting information stating they now can not help me. Checked credit and now have a hard inquiry pull and credit score drop! Dangerous company to do business with if you are rebuilding your credit!

Don't get a loan here, it's that simple. They will screw you even if you try to settle, OneMain Financial is your A grade typical trash Corp America company that only has greed in their eyes.

I have big regrets about taking out this loan. I blame myself because I was distracted when I signed this loan. I told them I didn't want to put my car up as collateral but they only showed me two loan options, both which included putting my car on the loan. Although they told me I was approved for $9200 with no collateral they never brought that option to me. I had a lot going on and I went for one of the deals with my car. After looking at how much interest I will pay on this if I can't pay it off fast, I feel hoodwinked. But, I signed it and so I am going to get another job to pay this off fast because this was a bad loan to make.

Christy was professional and courteous. Everything was the way I wanted it. I gave 4 stars because the money was unable to be direct deposited which wasn't her fault. The manager gave me a check immediately so I could deposit it. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars. Thank you OneMain Financial.

One Main Financial is a Great place to go if you're in need of a loan. It was fast, easy, and painless. The staff is Amazing. The payments are flexible.

So I went to an interview to this place.. and the person who I spoke to on the phone knew I had a baby I mentioned this, when I arrived I realized I was like maybe 5 minutes late if that... (I take full responsibility for being late and how bad that might of looked) I showed up with my baby... when I arrived I stated I was there for an interview the front lady said okay hold on.. so I sat down and waited about 15 minutes and then one of there staff members takes me to the back (not the person who I spoke to on the phone). The lady stated that I had spoke to Mark however she said that, that is why they schedule interviews ahead of time so that I can arrange because they could not interview me with my baby there it had to be 0 interruptions.. my child was not even making a sound.. I just moved to New Mexico too and have no one to watch her I will not leave her with just with anybody and I told her this.. I said I need a job to provide for her but she is my priority, so I said I will just leave and she said yeah sorry you were late and we need to talk to you for an hour without interruptions..(as my child is sitting there quietly and they knew I had a baby and the person I spoke too and scheduled me was not even there) I felt so much rage that they put the blame on my baby who was quiet as can be and that "mark" who scheduled me was not even there. I mentioned my child ahead of time... she is my priority and I needed a job to provide for her but if they're not willing to give me a chance then it's on them.. I apologized for not having anyone to watch her but if I would've been hired she would've been in daycare. They could not even give me a chance my baby is everything to me so you missed out a great employee.✌ Terrible place.🤮😭 thanks for making me feel like garbage.

VERY predatory, even with excellent credit! During application questioning they ask if you have vehicles. I say yes, then they ask about mileage and years. I’m honest, so I answer. They run my credit and I’m approved for both an unsecured loan and secured loan. I choose the unsecured loan. Then the girl on the phone says in order to process the loan I need a copy of your car registration or insurance card that has the VIN#. What??? That’s ridiculous. I said I’m not going to give that information, it’s an unsecured loan. She said then I can’t process the loan. Wow, good thing I have options; however, I will find a way to sue for you not being upfront with that information before running my credit. Never have I ever had to do that for ANY unsecured loan in 50 years or the other places I just applied for a loan! You just dropped my 746 credit score down by 20 points and don’t care a bit!

This branch has the worst customer service. I walked into the branch and had to wait to be waited on while the branch manager and another associate just sat there and did not offer to help me. I then made an appointment with an associate on Saturday to get some paperwork signed and I waited for 30 minutes and no one showed up, after I was told what time to show up! If you chose to use OneMain for a loan, do not visit the Rio Rancho branch.

They are super nice when you walk in. But then they tell you everything you need once you are there that isnt something you get online. You get it.. THEN AFTER RUNNING YOUR CREDIT IS WHEN THEY TELL YOU ALL UNSECURED LOANS ARE AT 36% NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE. So deceptive!! I am so disgusted. Then, Corina has the nerve to say because we had a loan with them recently that she thought we were aware of their interest rate, which we got in 2017 which was definitely much lower. And we only got the rate before signing at all because we asked. If we didn't, im sure it would have been some small print somewhere. We assumed we didnt get a rate until credit ran since we thought it was based of credit worthiness. It doesnt. Go here if you wanna be robbed.

I went trying to get a personal loan, my credit is good but it was gonna take sometime to get a loan off my bank, they said I could not get approved because I have one of my credit card max that I need my car title lol that specific credit card has $7 dlls balance, was an excuse to get my title, so instead I went next door to oportun finance and they approved me right away with more that what I was expected and better interest rate, I do not recommended this place go to oportun and you will never regret.
