This has been my go to pawnshop for years. Everybody is super friendly and whether pawning or buying I always get a great deal! Special thanks to Tony and Tori for always being there when I need them!

The staff here is awesome. I don t pawn but I come in for all the tools I need for my trade. They have the biggest selection and variety of tools I need and use that I don’t even bother with the large retailers anymore I just come here. I always deal with Jack but the whole staff seem sincere in trying to help you with the best way for your needs and budget. He always goes out of his way to make sure I have the right tool for the job and makes it happen for my budget.Don t take it from me go see for yourself and save a lot of money along the way.

I am a frequent customer at Old South. Mr.Tony and all his employees offers the best customer service all around. Everyone there are very friendly and helpful. They always try to make their customers feel appreciated by giving them discounts, giving them a chance to win something and at one point they gave out old south bucks with their purchases to use in the store. I loved those bucks. The work with you for what you have and they make sure that you walk out very satisfied. If you haven't been to Old South, I recommend you go see them.

Omg I love these people....Always willing to go above and beyond for their customer. The Jewelry selection will blow your mind at amazing prices. In the Summer they cool you off with their own Ice Cream, and during the Cold Holidays they have the Best Gifts at amazing prices that will just Warm your heart and Satisfy your pockets.This place is truly my Second home🥰. Angel is my Favorite,But Mr. Tony is the coolest I nick named him Big Guy.

This place is amazing! With covid and being unemployed, life has been tough. On top of everything- the starter on my car broke and I needed tools to replace it myself because I couldn’t afford a tow or a mechanic. They have bins here overflowing with spare sockets and wrenches and hand tools at $2/pound!!!!! It took some digging, but I got everything I needed and then some! Picked up some sawzall blades and drill bits and tin snips and roofing nails and so much more- on top of all the ratchet reducers and swivels and screwdrivers and plumbers tape and nail sets and omg at only $15!!!! This is the absolute best pawn shop I have ever seen in Macon. Tons of tools and they even had some high quality emerald jewelry in their case (I used to be a gem dealer) if anyone is looking to buy their lady an anniversary gift! I don’t see myself ever going to another pawn shop in Macon ever again! For 2 days in a row, I walk out feeling they saved my life with their prices and their heartfelt attentive staff! Please please check out this store before ever hitting up a hardware store again! It’s like stumbling across a hidden gem!

I’ve been a loyal customer to old south for about 3 years, mainly due to Tori!!! She’s always been fair, polite, friendly and professional all in one, all the time. I mostly deal with jewelry with old south pawn. But they pay top dollar and don’t try and swindle u to death. If I have jewelry to sell I got to Tori at old south pawn! Love it
