We have been satisfied customers at Anchor Bank for 16 years. We have been very unhappy with the transition from Anchor to Old National. We received a large check and when I deposited it, I got a letter with the deposit slip saying that since the letter was outside our normal deposit history, the funds would not be available for 7 business days, which is really 9 days since its impossible to a avoid including a weekend. That made it necessary for us to transfer money from our savings account, also at Old National. We did that on Saturday and as of Monday night that still showed as pending on their website. Transfers between those accounts should be immediate. They were basically holding thousands of our money hostage. Old National is going to be our old bank.

I have never written a Google review, but I need to share the horrible experience attempting to log in to their new online banking system. I received a letter saying that I could use my old AnchorLink ID along with a temporary password to log in to their new system the first time. I thought I remembered my ID, but it was a string of about 12 digits, so I may not be remembering it correctly. When I clicked "forgot my ID," I got to a screen where I could enter my email address and be sent the ID. Entered my email address 15 minutes ago, still no email from Old National. I get emails from them, so I know that my email is linked to my account. The link to their online support is broken. Because it's Memorial Day, the bank is closed, so I have no way to get help or access my money. I also got a link to a survey where I could give them feedback. I clicked the link, but nothing happens; the website just grinds and grinds without loading anything. I'm using this review as a last resort to make Old National aware of the terrible experience this transition has been. I'll be moving my accounts to a different bank soon. EDIT: I have confirmed my AnchorLink ID from my records, and I am positive I was entering it correctly. The website still tells me that my ID and the temporary password I was sent don't match their records. I emailed Old National's customer support as they requested. Old National, you're running out of time to keep my business.

Friendly staff but very slow service when you need to go in to the counter. Usualky end up waiting 10 minutes... apparently drive thru gets top priority

Always friendly and welcoming. It's nice to sit down and talk to a human being. Their online banking website is the best I've ever seen. I became familiar with Old National Bank when when my mom moved back to Minnesota.

I usually do not write reviews, but thought I have to for this bank. Anchor bank used to be a great personal local bank. now it runs more and more like TCF and other banks where they want your business ($) but have horrible services. I am just another transaction. Phone calls are not even answered by a live person now. how do you expect this kind of business with automated answering service. I had a few personal encounters with window staff and were all very disappointed. for example, I had a cashier check from affinity to be deposited to anchor bank. They put a hold for a week and my account and debit card was locked showing that I had insufficient fund but infact I was 10 G over...Had to go thru several phone calls to get it released. I am looking to move on. I am in the process of transferring all of my accounts over and close anchor bank. Can be doing this kind of a business with a bank which seems to have high staff turnover with new faces often, not care to get to know you, and have poor customer service.

I dislike getting charged $35 per transaction once account is negative. How is a person supposed to catch up financially or live if you're taking money from someone who doesn't have it? 2 transactions costing $33 = $70 in fees. $70! I guess all my tip money will go towards that instead of groceries. And people that work there act like it's a burden on their life to reverse a fee even when going negative isn't my fault. Why should I be charged hundreds of dollars for not having money? Maybe I wouldn't keep going negative anymore if I got the hundreds that were taken from me. You don't treat me like a human. You might as well charge people for making change because it is THAT ridiculous.
