tried to give me $20 for a $200 sound bar. told me a real diamond necklace with 9 REAL diamonds was worthless and worth 1 dollar for scrap silver , wouldn’t even look at the real rolex I had. absolutely horrible prices and horrendous service and attitude of workers. would give 0 stars if an option. will never go back here.

Poor choice in managers! He is very rude and disrespectful and fast talking. There is NO communication with the jeweler they use and they over-up charge on his repairs. The manager has no clue in how to deal with the customers. His way or no way. Definitely contacting the owners because this place was never run like this! Wow. There was no interuption while I was speaking to the manager. Who also put words into my mouth. There really is no way to actually speak to the jeweler. If he even exists. You can also use a power course in being kind and respectful to your customers and stop being a bully. And yes there are many others who are not going to attend your establishment as the manager is very fowl and rude.

The gal was fair for the most part. Completely under offered on a very, very expensive necklace, but everything else was competitive with the market. She was interrupted by a male staff member multiple times, asking if she was okay. That was sort of odd. I didn't like that he kept breaking her focus from what was in front of her bc there was 3 kinds of metals in front of her. The price from one to the next made a big difference to the total. We'll be back eventually. I asked about repairs and they have a place they may be able to send jewelry to be fixed, I think we'll be utilizing them for an art deco ring missing stone. Will upgrade rating after next experience.

We had an xbox one and a 55' Samsung smart tv in pawn, we came to pick it up but my husband had lost his license ( which you need to pick up your items). My husband had a picture on his phone of his license, BUT the man who dealt with us when we came and pawned the items in the first place took A PICTURE of him for the computers profile. The man who pawned it with us was EXTREMELY RUDE! We tried to explain our situation and he kept saying its state law cant help you, even though they had a picture of him on their computer. THANKFULLY the general manager was there and over rode the rude mans decision and said we could get our stuff out of pawn since THEY had a picture of him. They were very rude and disrespectful with how they spoke to us. The GM was very nice though. But ill never give them my business ever again. Learn how to speak to your customers sir.

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and nice😊 They are very honest about the pricing of what you’re trying to sell😊 They are not pushy at all and you can also look around while they are looking at your item😊 The store is a nice size and has a nice selection of different items to buy😊 I recommend checking them out😊

Visited for the first time and was very impressed with the friendliness of staff as well as the large selection offered. Store is very clean and the prices are quite reasonable. I appreciated how the staff members did not hover and did not push any sales. Will definitely visit again whenever I'm in the area.

I would give this place a 10 if I could so I took my fiance ring to jared a big box store to get it resized and this is what happened they ended up saying they couldn't take the ring from a 9 to a 5 and half she was devastated so I was looking on google and found this place i tell you what the customer services great they ended up resizing it the ring Looks great and the price is very fair would recommend them to anyone would recommend anyone to try them first

Really good selection. A lot of cool artwork, and they occasionally get very niche items. Just make sure you know what you're talking about when you go in there. Two guys got very upset with me, because I didn't know something about what I was pawning. I didn't know much about my item, and they snapped at me. I just was trying to get a grasp on what they were telling me, and since I didn't understand it right away, they got incredibly hostile. I've never had an experience like this, and it was really upsetting : / I still really like this place. I guess I just have to watch how I word things there. I guess their employees just don't have much patience. And that's okay. To each their own.

I think they rip people off i needed to make a payment so I wouldnt loose my TV so I called in to see if I could make a payment and found out cash only which I thought was messed up cause I was already on the road on my way to Massachusetts's to help my sis move home so I lost my TV for 40 bucks. But you should still tell your customers that its cash only when its time to make a payment so we know to come in earlier thats all im saying so people dont loose their stuff thank you have a bless day

I want to like this place but every single time I give it 1 more chance (5 now) the prices are absurd!! They gotta make money too but it's literally a couple bucks less than new. Why would you buy it here used for a few bucks less than new with warranty? I'm baffled they are still here. Must be making it in the pawn side.

I really would have recommended this shop. I have been doing business with them for years. However I got my guitar out of pawn.. damaged and with strings..restoung..wrong big time...paint on bridge too. All I asked for was a set of strings and let the damage go. They said no

Rated a two because the store was clean and a gentleman wished me a good day on my way out the door. Spoke to an older, balding man about price for a bridal set that I'm trying to get rid of. The set has been appraised at five thousand dollars so I asked for fifteen hundred. He opened the box spent about one half a second looking at it closed it and said not even in the ballpark. I understand the need to turn a profit, but when I started looking through their jewelry cases at what looked like costume jewelry to me, diamonds barely visible, was upwards of fifteen to two thousand dollars. Absurd! Take your jewelry to a consignment shop and wait it out.

I chose to go here because of the volume of google reviews and the overall ranking even though it is 2 hours from where we live. Even though we did not find a wedding set as I was hoping...our trip totally paid off. My son has just gotten into coin collecting and brought along his collection to value check. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. A lady offered to help me at the jewelry counter after I had a chance to look a bit. A man behind the arms counter noticed my son was studying the money cases and asked if we needed help. My son was hesitant but Corey was very kind, encouraging and patient with him. He also included in the conversation, my teen daughter, who had been just along for the ride, but ended up making purchases along with my son. We were very impressed with our experience here and plan to return when my kids save their goals in allowance. Thank you Corey for not crushing my son's excitement when his collection was face value but realistically and knowledgeably embracing these young learners. My son is already planning his next purchase of coins and my daughter now collects paper money and has a hobby she is excited for.

I’ve visited twice now and sold a firearm and tv here. The whole process was quick, and easy. They typically offer about 30% of what items are selling for on eBay auctions, so be aware of that before going and you can get an idea of what they will likely offer you here. Staff was friendly to me and others who came in. The best part of my experience was the fact that I never once felt pressured or obliged to make a decision to sell my items. They were open about how they came to the value and gave me plenty of time to decide what I want to do. Also As I checked the store out, prices on items seem to be very fair, bunch of hidden gems! I would recommend bringing your business here and I will be doing so in my future needs too, thanks Ohio Gold & Pawn!

What a joke!! Purchased an engagement ring a year ago from Kay Jewelers. Unfortunately the engagement ended and therefore I searched for a place to get some money out of the expensive purchase. I spent $2400 on the ring from Kay a year ago, I know it is marked up at the jewelry store. I have also researched and found out that you can probably expect to get 30% up to 50% of your original purchase price by selling to a pawn shop. So even 30% is still $800, I was hoping for around $1000 but I would probably settle for $750-$800. I go into this joke of an establishment, and the clown in there offers me $150! I looked up the ring on Kay Jewelers website and they are still selling the same exact ring for $2200! What a joke!! The other local pawn shops offered me $650 and $600!

I had been hearing a lot of negative things about this store, so today I wanted to find out for myself. I took an xtra fine, 1921 no mint Morgan to see what happened. Here we go! A. No option to sell for silver or coin rate B. Accused me of a fake because it had “no wear” and claiming the weight was off, when in actuality, he was off on what the weight should be. C. Very cold, wouldn’t look me in the eyes at all. D. Offered $12 for it. I completed the transaction to see if he’d really be comfortable cheating me that much. He was. E. Did not keep my coin in my sight during my deal. A real no-no. They could change coins on you. F. As a numismatic dealer, I would urge you to go somewhere else for fairness. Horrible prices and poor customer service . I would give this place a 0 all the employees have a attitude. Bought a custom glock from them in the past for $1200 its was junk took it back to them and they gave me $600 for it. I swore I would never go back but for some reason I gave them another shot took 2 necklaces and a charm in I paid over $6000 for all 3 pieces they offered me $1400. I will stick to cash land they know how to treat people

An amazing place to find gifts for those hard to find folks! Purchased some Morgan coins for our niece as well as found my wedding ring there! You never know what you’ll find and the staff of always willing to help! Highly recommend.

I was searching for a wedding ring and found one (because of an employee who took the extra time to bring one out to show me that wasn't in the case) I found a really good deal here, rather than having to pay three or four times the price in a jewelry store. They sized it for no cost because it was too small. Me and my fiancée both fell in love with this ring. I'm not sure exactly what happened with the sizing the first time because I was sized the time before when I was in, but they sent it back to resize and did not charge me for sizing again. It only took a week to get it back and it looks beautiful!! I am a very happy customer and was very satisfied with the friendliness of all the employees.

I hate this place, everyone who works there has an attitude. They low ball you on your items . And it's just not a great pawn shop. I'd give no stars if possible

I'll give it 3 stars. Place was clean, big... Not very many items in the knife and gun department... the one item I looked at was nearly double in price vs what I found online. Took some watches in for them to look at. Did my research like they do before going in thinking I knew ballpark what they would offer. The one gentleman wouldn't even look me in the eye, didnt like that at all.. Seemed very disinterested in me and my items. They offered me about 25% of what I thought was fair, I know it's a pawn shop, but it was a really really low ball offer.. I now know why their inventory is as low as it seemed. Overall not a bad place. More personable employees would be nice. They wouldn't negotiate at all. I wont go back..

Come in every chance I get. They really treat people right . Be They understand that its hard out here and go out of there way to help you get the most for your loans. I teach 6-8th grade at Youngstown city. One of my students really likes playing the drums, but the family does not have the money to afford his own to practice on at home. I stopped by to see if they had any drums for sale that I could get for him to use over the summer. After telling the worker the story as to what I was looking for, they decided to give a snare drum free of charge. They are really nice people, who care about the community.

I wish I could go back in time and never step foot in this store. WARNING. They mishandled my appraisal request, and dropped a mint state sealed coin on the floor out of its case, before I even gave them permission to open the box. Very irresponsible & unprofessional, and mishandled a 1850 dollar coin. No one ever even put on gloves, and then they bullied me out the door after I refused their scrap price offer on the coin they destroyed the value of by hundreds of dollars. The crime was reported to the local police, as they were unwilling to take responsibility for any damages they had just done. The coin was handled behind the counter after cracking out of the seal and was rolling around behind the counter where I could not see, then they blamed it on bad packaging by the US mint. Yeah, sure. Never let them touch anything of value. If they damage it they will only offer you damaged prices and thug you out of the door.
