OceanFirst Bank NJ, Mercerville

Long time customer and always received great customer service from Jackie. She always going the extra mile. The new manager Sherry seems very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I haven't really had experience with the other staff but if you ask for these two pretty sure you will have a great experience.

Want to talk to Bank officer. She was with other client and I waited 15 minutes and officer didn’t bother to say “sorry, wait, or be patience and I will help you onece I finish”. I left. Better to open account with other bank.

I went to this branch to set up a new account. The staff had to stay a little bit later than usual to help me out. They did not complain at all about staying late and were very courteous, understanding, and helpful.

They are the best bank. Very helpful and always going the extra mile. I’ve been a customer for many years. Radine ,Jackie and Ida had always been so helpful.

I was planning on closing since the Transfer fron Sun. Thought I moved everything to the new bank then received a notice that I was overdrawn on the 15th. Notice states that after the 5th day there is an additional 7$ daily fee added. Today is the 23rd and a saturday, I just opened the mail box. The account is being closed, just upset I didn't do it sooner. Lucky their even getting a 1 star rating. :[

At one time this bank was a good bank. My ex husband changed his home address with the banks months ago. Went in on 4 different occasions and today was the last. The first time, gave new license, bank scanned it, but can't seem to get it in the computer. Checks ordered, 3 times. First time, no checks, 2nd time, wrong address and today went back and spoke to someone again. Customer service sucks, except Jackie. If the bank can't get it right this time. Closing accnt and Bank and Insurance will be called.

I’m a new customer here at this bank, and I absolutely love the pleasant energy I experience every time I visit this branch. One of the tellers introduced the mobile banking app to me, and it has made my life 10x more convenient.

I used to have an account with the local Sun Bank and a friendly banker that would handle things for me. They closed that Sun and now this new location is horrible. I went to close my checking account and when I finally got somebody you would think it was the first time the bank had ever done it - kept messing it up. They kept me standing the whole time - didn't even offer a seat during their long confused process.
