Oaktree Funding Corp W 7th St, Upland

We've worked funded a handful of loans with Oaktree Funding and our experience has been positive. Our AE quit in the middle of our purchase transaction so we inherited a new AE, Johnny Salmons. I was very concerned that because Johnny was new, he wouldn't be able to help push our loan. Instead there were a couple of conditions that we needed an exception on, and Johnny escalated our request and got the conditions revised or waived. Our account manager, Cynthia Cuevas, is a rock star. This AM is on top of her game, fast to respond to our emails and knows her stuff. We just closed on a difficult purchase today and if it wasn't for our team, we would not have gotten to the finish line. Thank you guys !

Horrible experience from the broker side. I have a purchase that we have had to continue to extend time and time again. Angry agents, seller, buyers, etc. Like most reasonable people they just want status updates which I can't provide them. My point of contact won't call/email back after several voicemails and emails. If you have a purchase and it involves this company I would highly recommend seeking another investor or place your closings months out.

Horrible company, do not use!!! They issued loans docs after 2 months with the wrong loan to value. They sent me through underwriting again and after an additional month they denied my loan. Worst experience I have ever had trying to refinance a property!

find another lender. i don't think anyone actually closes with this company and the guy on here who gave them a 5 star works for the company. They strung me along for 4 months and refused the loan last minute.

Trash company. We have been forced to close our business due to covid-19 and they say they cannot offer anything to help. I hope they are happy showing customers how greedy they are.

Horrible Broker Partner, Worst Experience in 20 years in Biz!!! They cancelled my own personal Purchase loan 3 days prior to docs, 6 weeks into it, and forced me to pay for a appraisal I couldn't use, and never received!!!! Brad Baker made me feel like I was buying a used car! A real slimy experience!! Avoid at all costs, there are a lot of better options out there! Can I give a minus 5 Star Rating? I re-applied for a Fannie loan and closed it in 3 weeks with AmWest!!!

Terrible experience. This company will tell you you are pre approved and then change conditions last minute. Their communication is terrible. We almost lost our house because of Oaktree, and ended our switching lending companies. If you want to waste two months submitting documents to a borderline scam this is a great company. If I could give negative 5 starts I would.

Avoid! please don't waste your time and money. After submitting multiple documents and paying for an appraiser at the last minute they refused to close my loan. They simply told me that there were "too many red flags" they never explained exactly what those flags were. Waste of time and money; I am not sure anyone ever closes a loan with them

I've been a mortgage broker for three decades and I can honestly say that they really don't care about anybody but the bottom line. It's been quite a miserable process working with them.

I can’t fathom… Google should have the option for at least .5 stars in which this company doesn’t deserve.
