Northwest Bank E Main St, Mount Joy

We banked previously with Mount joy union community AND with northwest savings bank. Ever since the merge to Northwest, we have been very disappointed with our bank. HORRIBLE customer service, especially in the drive through. Not friendly, unprofessional, and I dread having to go to the bank. The only time the experience is tolerable is when we are lucky enough to get one of the tellers from the previous Union Community Bank. How disappointing.

AWESOME BANK. Banked here all my life. We had some business accounts for a short time @ PNC, and got sick and tired of all the fees for every little thing. Northwest doesn't have all that nickle and dime fees going on, so we switched all the business accounts over to Northwest as well. The staff is also very friendly , and they are generally very quick. If anyone has a problem here, i'd suggest it's a personal problem!

They are great. And I'm one of those annoying people who never knows his account number and forgets his ATM card in the machine constantly. They're still nice! Unlike greedy Susquehanna -_-

Disappointed to say the least. I started a working relationship with this bank 5 years ago. They advertised "small town bank." Now they have sold out to a different bank the small town appeal is gone. They no longer have consistent employee's who you know by name when they answer the phone. I have run into trouble with the IRS and my Federal Student loans as a result of account changes and direct deposits not being deposited. My employer made several direct deposits which unknown to me never went in because my account was dissolved and the responsibility of changing account and routing numbers was left up to the consumer not the banker. I was told I had to until October 2019 to notify all government agency's who automatically withdraw from my account. Now as a result of this I will have to pay for returned withdrawal due to lack of available funds fees to the Federal Government plus two negative reports to the credit bureau. When Banks merge they intend to do so without any responsibility to the customer. Stay Away.

Adam is a good person to deal with. Other than that, I'd have to think we all miss Union Community Bank big time.

Used to be the best bank with warm friendly service. It is now the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Very slow, incompetent people at the drivein. And inside.

Drive through only open certain hours/days. Do not offer replacement card if yours is lost or missing. Have to wait 7-14 days.
